The Main-Lining Thread

Awesome video Nugbuckets! You have had an amazing year I feel honored to have had a front row seat to it. Much love bro, can't wait to see what you have in store for 2013.

'Twas a great vid!

Side note: Regarding TGA gear, this is my third round of Plush Berry and the previous two I only LST'd. This time I did the Subcool top chop (like brother Nugs does). I expected some branching and 4 dominant heads, but this is branching like crazy! I've been trimming them down unless they were larger and able to be trained.

Having said that, I also have a nice SSH female that was topped and is branching like crazy also. I'm new to this degree of topping. Previously I only FIM'd and LST.

This is all such a bitch in such a small space. Like an olympic event to get at some branches, as I am in constant crouch.

looks good bro, i would feed them before finishing them out though.....

Can someone help me with this mainlining? I've read nugs instructions, but I think I am confused with a few of his terms. When you say you are Pruning for 8' or 16, or whatever it may be, do you mean top it?

I top dressed then a day or 2 ago with some organic flowering mix and I also fed them some fish fertilizer to help stop the yellowing. The one the left I cleaned off all the lower stuff then the next day it started yellowing. The one on the right is gonna be left un-lollipopped so I can compare for my self. Mahalo for all the tips. Let me know if you decide to take a Hawaiian vacation.

Nugs what do you thing of the poly what ever hydrofarm tomato rings? I can't find heavy duty ones anywhere locally. The ones at home depot are horrible and too big. the hydro shop down the street has the hydrofarm ones for $5 and they have 4 rings that snap together if stacking them in each. I've been using stakes and those do not work that great.

What size pots are you using the tomato cages at home depot work for me I just cut them into multiple single rings. I think I get three rings off of each full sized tomato cage. I know the biggest ring can be a pain cause its so big but the other two work well for me.

The ones at home depot in my area don't even have those. They have one kind. A single ring that is 18 inch diameter and has 3 4 ft legs that hook on loosely..... Im using 5gal. Soon to be 7. Just ordered some root pouch pots. They do have one other version that is a scrog but same size and everything else.

Yea I've seen those, I'm suprised you couldn't find the simple 3 ring one there. I guess it's already out of season.

your options are definitely limited during non garden season....but home improvement stores are loaded with all sorts of options come spring....my favorite are enamel coated peonie cages....heavy-duty....

check the online greenhouse shops i got some good deals lately, selling their old shit for next years new .got me one of those pump up sprayer's for 4.99 shipped :) yeah it's bubble time lol
