If it's in dark you should leave it dark. Any interruptions in the dark period could stress it, possibly turn it male.

looks 2 soon 2 tell 4 me but what i can tell is its bein over watered IMO....let that thing dry up b-4 u give it anymore

Lol i water it a nite by the next day the soil is bone dry how long to wait and in picture i just watered it and i have 7 cfls is that too many for one plant

damn dude. just because the top is dry dont mean down down down in the soil is dry. its to much water. to early to tell if its male or female.

youll be able to tell its sex when you put it into flowering
male if it has pods (oval shaped) or female if it has stimas

No lie that is exactly what my plant looked like but on mine now on the main stem are alot more leafs 
But ya overwatered. leafs dropping and stem is pitch purple/red could be the strain or stress on plant.

Your plant is pretty stretched with small branches. Interesting seeing as how the lights are so close. I mean the plant i'm growing below is
under 4x 23w Cfls before it is put in flower under HPS and it has nice tight internodes, and showed developed preflowers at 3 1/2 weeks
to my surprise.
Anyway, the preflowers show up between the branches and the stipule (the little "Fibers" you are seeing are part of the leaf, the stipule)
Your branches are the leaves growing above the leaf stalk. Normally they should be longer at this age.
You won't see the preflowers until it is a bit older and more developed.

Mines stemy because before i only had 3 cfls its growing 3 times faster now

Mine was on 3 cfl's up until week 3. No problems other than slightly smaller.
You must have had them too far away.
Anyway i have a pic of my female preflowers. Blurry but that is the area you keep an eye on.
If there is anything growing there other than the stipe, branch and leaf it's the preflower.

Its got a long way to go..don't flower that thing yet ull get like a 20 sack off of it....top it...fim it...stop watering...get a bigger pot...lighting is good tho.
