My friends all say you can't cuz its too cold and the days are shorter and I told them weed can grow in cold conditions and all the light cycle will do is put it into flowering when it grows and your held will be lik a half ounce but you can possibly grow in cold conditions am I right?

I had 8 plants grow last winter with some heat lamps on em at night(like 60w lamps) close to the house. Got about 1.5 lbs of fluffy bud. But it was still bud!

This is what I'm talking about. You can do it but don't expect great results.

You can grow anywhere if the conditions are right. Biggest drawbacks here are extremely cold days with no sunlight during the winter, it would be pointless. If your climate is ideal than go for it, but I wouldn't expect much to happen if your temps are very low

hell ya you can. The question is do you want too?
Put a nice small white pvc bag over the top with some pvc hoops and off you go.
Dont know where you live really, but if its not snow and just rain you can do it. You can also put black heat bulbs in there for the night time one a state to triger at X temp. It is not going to be the best weed, but it is colas and off you go.

got my green house up. and still growing! get about 1 to 2 oz right now off my 4 gallon buckets, also some strains do really better then others for cool weather and less light. Going to get my last grow in the green house with 10 plants

I have harvested dense dank nuggets from plants that were just left outside in 5 gal pots starting from dec through April... i did nothing, let the snow fall on them and barely even fed them, i maybe watered a couple times. sure smaller yield, not the best quality could have been... but it was fine smoke and fun :)... you will get out what you put in ;)

It depends on where you are, here in Boston,..it wont happen,...too many single digits and Ft of snow. Once the phloem stops, she`s dead !!

certain places you can grow year round. Up here in canada, we only have about 6 months of a growing season, then it gets to cold. The only negative things about growing in the fall and winter would be lower temps, less sun intensity, and very few hours of light per day, causing any sexually mature plant to go into flower. You can still take full advantage of the short days though, it just means you that the plants will not get as big, they will begin to flower once they are introduced to the short days. hope that helps, happy toking
