Please someone help me to understand! I feel like I am losing my mind. All of the info on the net is starting to change to this fact that cannabis leaves your system a few hours after smoking and yet we all knew it seems just a few days ago that THC stays in your system for up to a month. I personally, when I was in treatment, got UA's in the 600 range and scored over 50 a week with no smoke. So what is going on here? Is it a different kind of test or are we having the wool pulled over our eyes?

^^^ they are saying that THC is processed thru your body and what remains after absorption is detectable as a THC 'by-product'...not as plain old THC. That THC 'by-product' can stay in your system for up to a month or so....It has been changed after U got high off it into something a bit different. Think of it as being metabolized first even tho that's probably not exactly what happens- (i assume)

Get it?

So the THC is changed into THC-COOH to be stored.. I guess, but isn't that what they are looking for in the testing or is it a new kind of test that looks for unabsorbed THC only?

if they are gonna give you a DWIrie they have to show you ARE high not that you "Have Been High In The Last 2 Months". the tests for people on parole and probation test for Cannabis Use, while the DWIrie laws have to test for actual nyabinghi activity, just as drunk driving doesnt hold up if they test your liver and find cirrhosis but no booze in your blood.
