New grow 4 strains under 10 CFLs

Ok the strains are
TGA Seeds Agent Orange(4)Reserva Privada OG Kush #18
Reserva Privada Kandy Kush
Reserva Privada Sour Kush AKA Headband
they are about 4 days old im keeping the light on a timer set at 18/6
the temp in the room is 70
but under the light where the plants are is 80 with humidity at 30
they where in small 1in by 1 in pots and i yesterday i just transplanted into these 2in by 2in by 3 inch deep pots
I have 1 gal pots that are next for when they are bigger
i have a fan set on 15 mins off 15 mins on on low to move the air around but nto blow the plants over
i have a heater set at 74 its off by 4 degs so its really 70 i keep that on all day and night seems how its
getting cold out now in the 30s
the cfl lights are = to 125 all 10 of them
orange fuzs are AO
green fuz are KK
red fuz is OK 18
blue fuz is SK(HB)



they all are growing great im just showing them off and looking for some pointers

those lights...are they 2700s? they look orange and not blue (shuld use 6500k for flowering)

i wound't use foil... foil reflects heat not light... use mylar.. or get a real hood.

im not sure what lighst they are just bought them at lows they said = 125 watt for each i only use this set up for seedlings and clone for about a month then switch to my hps and yea the foil i used for head it so cold in my basement the heat from the lights make it go up 10 degs to 75 where i want it

Updated pics i transplanted them into 1 gal buckets now and got some more lights took off the tinfoil and now its looking better

• I think im gonna try to build a refletter for the top of the lights might just take card board and paint it flat white and tape it to the top so if reflets light but doesnt make much heat
  now running 14 cfls at the moment​

what kind of fixtures did you use for that? ive seen some vanity ones used, but was unsure if you could use splitters with them

im not sure their just normal house fixtures and i went to ace hard ware store and found a 3 way socket and a 2 way they were only like 1$ a piece
the 3 way ones are only that has a light socket on the bottom and 2 plugs like house plugs on the sides then i got the plug in sockets they were like 50 cents each and got 2 for each side to make them 3 ways its hard to explain sorry i hope i helped im thinking about making like 2 more of the bar ones and just using the 2 way ones bc with the 3 way the lights are a little to far away from the plants as i like

First of all 6500k is for veg and 2700k is for flowering! The most efficient and effective cfl for growing is in the range of 25 to 50 watts per bulb. What is the grow size of your area? If I knew that I could give you a good ball park wattage figure. By the way no 85 watt bulb gives you 12000Lumens I least thats what I think you meant. I have a grow closet almost 24"x42"x 59" with 2 plants in 3 gal buckets and I'm running 12000 Lumes of 6500k (color). And the plants respond very well. I am also using Foliar feeding plus soil feeding. Make sure you spay your nutes on the underside of the leaf, They'll absorb the nutes much better that way. I hope this points you to the right fork in the road LOL. Peace Brother!

ok grow spaces is well in my basemen i need to just save up for a 600 watt hps but yea dont have that the space is well roughly 5x5 foot and 7 feet high

i got around 2 30 watt cfl per plant now im just trying to keep them growing till i get my hps im hoping i can get it before their a month old

update with pics of new light set up i have 2 per plant but cant do it with the light bar so i put the brightest lights on it and only 3 plants i have the 3 AO strain on it hoping they will grow about the same
Also got my humidity up to the 50s now so no prob there any more it was in the low 20s

thank you first cfl grow for me ill be changing it again soon i dont like how my light bar only has room to have 2 plants right under the light so im gonna be taking out the middle 2 lights and making another 2 light for the plant in the middle so it gets more light idk i have a 600 hps i normal use but it took a shit on me so i need a new one just using cfl till i get a new one prob be next month

changed the bar to only have 2 lights on it for 2 plants and took the middle plant and 2 middle lights and made another 2 light hanging down over the plant

They look nice. How many 2700k's will you have for flower W/ a total lumen output would be nice... Generally 67Lumen/watt.

I have 3x 32w 2700k, 3x 27w 2700k, 1x 13w 2700k w/ a 45w 4100k for under foliage lighting.
They are 2 months old from veg - 13day into flower with some amazing little nugs on top. I wish you the same luck.

Roughly 15,000 total lumen.

thanks im just using cfls till i get my money back up for a nice 600 watt hps for flowering

Your looking good Johny! I know your waiting on a 600 watt HPS and so am I but while you wait remember you can't have to much light. While we both wait for out 600 watters keep in mind that you can finish and finish strong with just the CFL's.
I will "upgrade" at some point but last years winter grow produced 5 zips of Master Kush bud off of four plants under 425 actual watts of CFL's. I'm not unhappy with that and all I have to do is plug it in to do it again.

Wishing you well Johny and I'm gonna be watching Good luck on getting a 1/2 pound under CFL's alone. Two Zip plants are tough to come across but your girls do look like they are getting off to a good start. Makes me wonder what is considered a good yield under CFL's both on a per plant and per actual watt basis. I thought 35 grams of rock hard buds was doing pretty well. Those four Mason jars filled up looked pretty sweet and then "POP" goes my bubble. Ha Ha.

Well I gots 5 femmed Juicey Fruit Chronic seeds (or sumpin like that) just waiting to go. One of my RUI pals recommended it for taste and performance but I'm not sure about yield. I should check and see if Chiefs still around and see how he did. I'm just glad I did OK on my outdoor stuff. Should be enough to get me through if I don't turn it all into hash. OOPS
