True, but our state goes by the fact that if they have been there before, and they are coming into your residence with intent to do harm, you have the right to defend yourself. The non-fatal aspect is what keeps you safe in this situation. If I were to shoot somebody in the head I would go to jail, If I were to shoot somebody in the thigh they would go to the hospital and I MIGHT get a month if I get a judge that doesn't like me.

I can see people really going through all the "scenarios" while someone is attempting to cause harm to a loved one, if your mind can work that fast, more power to you. Me and my family on the other hand, will eliminate the threat and then, be around to filter through all the BS that comes afterward, I would much rather do that, than bury a loved one.

And I believe that if it can be avoided nobody needs to be buried, which using a toxic chemical might do to some people. Like I said. Have your family take a class. They teach you to assess a situation on the spot without going into a "panic mode" like you are describing and shooting up your whole house. if you cant concentrate you will run out of bullets before you hit the fucking guy. Go out to a shooting range, get yourself really stressed out put your brain into a panic mode and try to aim properly. Then think about how you can AVOID that panic mode... Panic mode= bug spray Panic mode=spray and pray
