there are no light traps for fans. here's plans on how to build one out of foam poster board.
it's basically a rectangular tunnel with walls inside it to trap the light because light doesn't bend.
no light gets in anywhere except where the air comes out of the trap and into the grow box because of the series of walls.
i know this isnt very thorough but just play with it and if you have any questions let me know and ill answer them.
i used hot glue to connect the walls. and i used duct tape to tape the tunnel together. use small pieces of foam board to evenly space the walls and give them something to rest on. you want to put them parallel with whatever wall you're putting it to because the support/spacers are not for blocking air just spacing and supporting the walls. and i used some supports to hold the fan. hope this helps.
all the walls and cuts you make in the board have to be perfectly strait and 90 degrees so it fits flushly. if not light will escape.
