You could fit 6, 1 gallon pots in a 24x24 space, but I don't know why you would, even at 5 feet tall. You would have light issues and dead branches, wasted effort. 1 plant would be plenty to flower in that space.

I re-measured, I made a mistake, its actually 30x30, with that said, do you think more than one plant would be optimal? I can't imagine one plant taking up that entire tent... it would have to be a giant sexy lady in there

Optimal depending upon what though? Optimal that the entire plant can receive light? Or optimal that the entire floorspace is full? There is a difference, and 30x30 gives you another foot to work with. So I would say 3 plants max for flowering, they will get as big as you let them. And then some.

That's 5'3 tall, or about the size of Danny Devito standing on 2 1/2 phone books.

lol, so its in inchs? im guessing. Very small tent indeed. I was Going to buy one of those tents, but then i thought im handy, and built myself a 2.4m (w) by 2.4m (l) 1.2m (h) box which is Seperated in the middle to provide a veg and flower section for 60 bucks. houses 6 plants comfortably

My current grow has the 4 plants like I said with scrog. 10 days in flower I have over 5 tops that will become nice buds. Last time I had more plants and less tops. So I'm hoping for 2lbs this time but we'll see. That's off a 600w. I have grown lots of different ways and scrog takes the cake for me.

In meters, my tent is 1.6 meters tall and 0.7 meters wide and deep

Yeah. Too many will fight each other for light, making your middles and bottoms crappy. Could stop air flow and promote mold. Could also trample each other and kill each other fighting for light. Could turn out good if you train them right.

I used to have this issue. Utilize your walls at this point. What I did was put netting on the walls and trained them to grow towards the wall. Once they got there, you run them horizontal, the side shoots become the new vertical ones, and you'll save yourself some height issues.

Oh, and proper trimming helps a lot too.

Also, with a small space, and a lot of foliage, the air space in the room (the free space) actually declines, so heat and temperatures and lack of CO2 play a factor.

Foresight is a must :)
