Uhm there supose to be on 18/6 to veg good , 24/0 is seeldings or clones and 12/12 for flowering
Ummmmm.. NO>> You can Veg on 18-24 hours a day, it all works about the same. I have done both. My thinking is this. Why have the lights on for another 6 hours a day, and pay that elect bill when you do not have to.

On the Plants. Those are some very nice bushy and healthy looking plants. I like them a lot. Would be nice if they were bigger, but Hey. a lot of times shorter is better at that young age in my book. Well book to someday be written.. LMAO

Very nice looking CROP.

ACTUALLY...24 hours of light cycle promotes males and hermies, look it up if you don't believe.
I bet I have grown at least 8 crops that were feminized seeds on 24 hour that not one ended up being Male or Hermieing on me. and other crops I have had regular seeds and not one Hermied.

Maybe I am just that lucky grower. But i have never had a Hermie to this day. (Knock on Wood).

A Side note. I would bet money that 50% of the hermies people talk about in these threads were in fact miss-judged. and most in fact were females. This being done by the perinoid Noobie grower.

New growers are scared of the male plant, so bad that anything that even hints of being a male gets ripped up. These plants take time to mature. So if you think you have a male,, then kick back and chill and see what happens. These males take a while to mature. I am not talking hours, and not even days. Usually at least a week. So New growers CHILL THE FUCK OUT!!!! And stop killing the young virgins.

LISTEN TO MY WORDS NEW GROWERS!!! Do not be so quick to x-equite. (spl)

Not true.

Why don't you put up some proof? Because you don't have any, its nothing but bullshit.
Not offering any proof, but I will note that the bible corventes says slightly shorter days for seedlings makes for a higher female ratio and longer days for a higher male ratio - I don't think it said anything about any light schedule causing hermies other maybe a staggered/chaotic one. I don't know if it's accurate info but I don't think he meant it to be a huge deal either way... he mentioned something like a 14 or 16 hour light period to start off but he also mentioned 18 & 24 noting that's what most growers start off with.

har har har, I know you're kidding but vipergts could be right in that plants may stretch out a little farther with less light - I know this is the case with light intensity but I don't know if the same applies with duration. I don't know if he meant taller as in a bigger plant alltogether, or just taller - but I would think just taller (as in nodes & budsites farther apart, overall height increased)

I've got no experience to back up my interpretations/ideas but just from reading/listening/researching these are the impressions I get... I don't really know :-?

Yes, I was just joking around. I hope you guys and gals do not believe everything you read and are taught. Even in School they teach people false information. History is not always the truth. It is written by the powerful and the people who concure others. And they write it to soot their needs. I have not had one hermie while growing on 24/7 light. But why the hell do it. You get no more growth and spend 25% more for power. That should be enough right there to finish the debate. hell if I could lower my light cycle to 9 hours on flowering stage and get the same results I would jump at it.
