Bringing out color just before the chop

Is there a method by which you can bring colors of the flowers at the end of the flower cycle just before the chop? I've heard different solutions for this but I wanted to get some more experience on here. I've heard that less light at the end can do this because of minimal chlorophyll production, or no light in the last 48 hours. I've seen colorful purple orange yellow hues in dried buds and I've seen forest green buds with orange hairs so there had to be something done differently there. Any feedback would be great, thanks.

If you want to guarantee yourself some quality purple get yourself some Killing Fields from Sannies - they go purple without you having to do anything.
