Anyone else sick of hearing about "Cali" weed ?

I would love to get a good idea of what Cali weed is... I have no doubts... But by the time it makes it to my state it is compressed, kiefed, and been picked through. It looks like someone shaved the buds of the resin rich surface. Cali weed here goes for 2800-3200 lb. Local stuff is 4000-4200 lb. Even the best from Cali has not stood up to slightly above the average local. This city grows though, and has for a long time.

The colorado stuff has been pretty good for the most part. I love getting the syrups... There is this blueberry syrup that is around often that I enjoy. Some purple power from CO a few weeks ago was great.

Good weed is everywhere. Knowing the right people is what gets you the best.

LIKE I SAID, prior to the indoor hydro trend Cali was one of the few places with the perfect environment for growing outdoors. AT THE TIME, it would have been considered the highest quality. SINCE THINGS HAVE CHANGED with technology you can grow anywhere. Genetics have changed too, you cannot compare what we did 30 years ago to now, no matter where you grow. If places such as Kansas or elsewhere were so great, it would have been known for its bud 35 years ago. Saying "Cali schwagg" is a gross generalization as well as an ignorant statement. Here in Colorado we only wish we could have top quality outdoor weed, unfortunately it is too cold, too dry, and too high as well as shit soil. I live in the agricultural center of Colorado, I could never dream of growing like we used to in the redwoods. We should be happy now that we can grow killer bud anywhere. Who cares if its an old thread, obviously its still a great subject to argue since so many have responded.

Of course if you don't grow, how do you REALLY know where the frick the budz you buy from your dealer are from? So in short, IMHO a dealer is certainly gonna say the dank they are selling you is the dank God smokes, he wants to sell his product. And a grower is gonna tell you his budz are grown in heaven. Just my .02

Outdoor it has the perfect environment...but I know people from NYC that get seeds from cali and grow killer indoors, and I have had weed from all over, Amsterdam,Cali,BC kind bud. unless its outdoor, anyone who knows their shit can do just as good if not better imo.

I was talking about the outdoor shit that showed up here when the dispensaries first opened.
That was indeed, Cali Shwag.

There was a glut of wed in norcal, you couldn't give it away, so people tried to sell it here. It was crap weed, plain shit.
