Hypothetically speaking you can't cut a tree and immediately DWC it in a perfect mixture of nutrients? I'm not talking about optimal growth, but keeping it alive.
Why would that be? Is it the size of the plant?
do you even understand what you are asking? dwc is a style of growing, deep water culture. people clone all different ways and probably most dont use hydroponics at all. you just are not able to get that the tree will not reroot. it will not grow. hell, what do you think that pan of water you keep it in is? that is basically a dwc. now after knowing that, how many times do you remember the tree having roots after xmas and how many times do you remember throwing the tree out right after xmas because it was so dry and dead?
