hi guys,im new to this site and from the uk
ive read articles on various sites on the use of colodial silver to make fem seeds out of 2 female plants !!
ive now done a setup to make the S/C but i was wondering at what strenght i should use as you can only buy S/C
@ around 20ppm and have read that it needs to be in the region of 40-50 ppm and also should i dose my 1 plant
daily ???
also i started spraying my plant (big bud cheese) at a pretty late stage in flower 2-3 weeks ???will this still generate female pods ??
or have i just wasted one big mofo plant for nothing lol ??

50 ppm is ok. I have had success with much less. It will take about 3 wks on avg to get pollen so count forward to be sure you have a female with at least 3 wks left in flower (5 wks is better).

yes 50 ppm will work but I prefer it even higher.around 75 and I spray them twice a day once in the morning and once at night.its best to hit them as soon as you switch to 12/12 because once they hermie you need time for them to pollinate and the seeds to fully mature.

Sounds like it's going to be close. It may work if you have a 10 week strain.
What are you growing? is it from seed? Has the plant matured yet? (Are the node still symmetrical?)
If you have at least 6 weeks left on the female you will probably be ok

nope soz just done the maths ive got 6 weeks left both are in flower im just tryin at mo to hermi one which is already into 2 weeks flower ... big budda cheese ??

I think you'll be alright. Just run em a little longer than normal til the beans look ripe (good dark color) good luck

chances are you will be fine but like goose says just make sure the seeds become ripe b4 harvest.good luck

Hate to tell you but you started too late. It is hard to get a plant to self pollinate, even if you start spraying it a week before 12/12.
it will be too late to pollinate other plants at the same stage. You need to have viable pollen on the buds about 5 weeks before you pick. You can let the plants go longer to make bigger/better seeds.

If you do it right it is good in the fridge for months and good in the freezer for years.

I did that on my last one, Trousers. (all due respect bro) It had started flowering but it reversed and there were zillions of pistils on the siblings to receive the pollen. Turns out to be my most seeded crop ever and although they still have a couple weeks left to finish, I am sure they will be plenty mature. Actually it's a hell of a lot more than I need or want.
If OP's "male" is not too mature already, I believe he has a good chance.... worth a shot anyway

good on you. I didn't have much luck trying to self a plant.

When I make a seed crop I start a seedling and grow it for two weeks then start another. The one that was started earlier gets sprayed for a week then moved to 12/12, the other seedling stays put in veg. About a week later the other plant joins the shemale.

Next batch is Tangerine Dream x itself and A-Train
