bushmaster vs bud blood power

im looking for something to stop all the streching in flower and transfer the plants to flower faster. it really screwed me this time around and i ended up with 6 foot tall plants lol "my first grow btw". I see using bushmaster will help stop streching and it looks like bud blood will do the same but i only see it in powder form and i use an aero setup and not sure if they go together. could anyone help me make a decision on this? i would really like to order one or the other today.

i dont want to top when they already have buds on them and still have streched. they just stopped streching at week 5. i just want a better way than topping so i thought i want try bushmaster or something.

You could get the same result with a little pH down. Most of them use phosphoric acid as a base.

Takes a little searching, but you can find a detailed analysis of anything that is sold in the state.

For sure they work, they just don't want you to know they are simple, cheap, ingredients. It's called marketing.

I used bud blood on my purple kush plants and 7/9 showed sex in 3 days. They barely stretched in flower which I actually disliked as I didn't veg as long as I'd liked.

Im' a budblood user as well, However bud blood has been reformulated to a new product called bud ignitor (and is a liquid) , I havn't tried this product yet but will durring the next run.

Ive used bushmaster a couple of times and i wont ever use it again. It did what it was supose to do but burned my leaves.
If i remember correctly you are only supose to use bushmaster in the first two weeks of flower.
If you are in week 5 the streach should be almost done.

i use blood bud and flower dragon. flower dragon stop the vertical growth on a dime. i use it in weeks two and week 3. my buds got 4x Bigger.

Cant be it sorry. I looked at the link and they do only list .1 % Phosphoric acid and some small amount of metals. If you look at their Big Up it has 30% Phosphoric Acid. There is no possible way .1 % would stop all vertical stretch like this stuff does and also burn plants. Hell I used 1 ML per gallon in my hydro setup with my regular nutes and got some pretty bad ram horns on my leafs after 5 days only. Plants that normally triple in height only stretched 1-2 inches max over the next two weeks after that limited dose ! There is something in there they do not list on that site.

Great info. I'm totally into not being ripped off by these companies because I didn't take the time to learn the science. And it does take time. Ideally I would like to make my own nutes when I have learned enough. I stumbled on this post while trying to find out what's in Bud Blood. I'm a little unclear as to how to implement the method in the above quote. I use pH down daily (hydro) so theoretically should I be experiencing similar effects as if I had used Bushmaster? Also have you tried it? how did it compare with the control? Again thanks for the info. And if these companies weren't so greedy we wouldn't have to find ways around supporting them.

bushmaster contains a plant growth regulator called chlormequat chloride that altars plants auxins, it actually works and isnt just phosphoric acid... do some research on plant growth regulators and you'll be introduced to a whole new ball game.

also do some research of the health effects of these products as they can be carcinogenic (cancer causing) and then you decide wether or not its for you.

use 455nm leds and more blue spectrum leds only and your plant will have very tight internode structure, safe alternative, healthy growth, helps reduce stretch greatly but it doesnt induce flowering quickly such as chlormequat chloride.

Yep...bushmaster/hombolt products has some nasty PGR in it.... thats why it has been made illegal to sell in California
