Dog Fighting

I would honestly like to think so racer, but the OP's question begs to differ
yeah, i tend to agree, sad is it is.. i would feel differently if it were any animal other then dogs as dogs are breed to be a companion to man.. dogs are so loving and loyal, i'll never understand how people could do this type of thing to a dog..
i mean, how could anyone want to hurt this loving thing??

Stag beetle fighting is still popular in japan but it sure isn't as brutal and bloody as this shit. But most kids have converted to the electronic version as you know... Don't fuck with my Houndour!

If people really love this shit, they should just replace the dogs with consenting humans in the underground.

If that's too much of a scary thought for these dog fighters....then I hope the dog's eat them alive someday.
Uhhhhh.. I'd find it amusing to watch a fight club. Weapons though? Why? The dogs aren't using weapons. That's unfair.

I guess weapons would make it extremely brutal, which dog fighting is. There's a brutality to it that you won't get with bare hand fighting. I consider their jaws and strong teeth a fast penetrating weapon and it's much heavier damage than humans throwing punches and kicks. Our bodies can take incredible blunt damage, but dogs rip eachother's flesh up in ugly bloodbaths to the death due to their living conditions. Fight club would definately be a better substitute though realistically. They should just scrap creul dog fighting altogether and bet on human underground bare knuckle fights like east london back in the ole days

but humans are just so soft these days....yet dog fighting still exists cus the money hustle to survive in the hoods and other deselate areas. sad reality

I'd rather die by hard fast hits (pitbull) than soft blows (fists).. So maybe weapons are a little more humane lol. Good idea.. Maybe not the same thought process as me, but still a good thought.

I agree, if they wanna see fights and make money, they should do it themselves. Bet money on who will live.. And no guilt since they volunteered themselves. These dogs had no choice.

next time try a bucket of cold water or the hose to break them up.. for god's sake don't get in between two fighting dogs as hard as it maybe to sit and watch them as a person can get severely hurt in the process to say the least..
Yea your right, but we tried the water thing but it didn't work when these dogs went for it they really went for it,yet they were brother and sister and as pups you they were inseparable it was hard to believe they would want to hurt each other so badly. However sadly the one we kept we had put to sleep 2 months ago he was a big old boy and his back legs went he couldn't walk at all in the end, the bitch my daughter has still got but she's very aggressive with other dogs and strangers but so lovable to us.

I would never support dog fighting. It was bad enough we HAD bull fighting here. A bull against a matador- sounds like a fair match? I don't think so. I had a trained German Shepherd that wasn't great with other dogs. It's not fun when you have to split up two dogs (regardless of the dogs choosing to fight). This sport is sick and inline with badger baiting etc.

Ive always thought to my self i would feel very guilty to kill or harm an animal, however i don't think a human would bother me so much, main reason animals don't have motives or objectives humans do.
