You cant tell if a nose is broken in the dark by looking at it.

The affidavit said he was going home. He wasn't. The investigators intentionally lied to have Z arrested an tried. The prosecutor knew this and still charged him. Malicious prosecution suit coming next. Z's loss will be easy enough to prove.

Of course not, UB has already told us that when you get a broken nose your eyes all go black and swell up so that you cannot see, plus the pain is so excruciating that even a morphine drip will barely take the edge off. You can forget walking or talking, all impossible with a broken nose. according to UB anyway.

The EMT who responded said Zimmerman's head was 45% covered in blood. If my head was 45% covered in my own blood I would be alarmed. If an attacker was bashing my head into the concrete pavement I would be alarmed. I think a jury will conclude that it was reasonable for Zimm under these circumstances to conclude that he was in imminent danger of great bodily harm, or death. That is self defense.

I'm sure you know that scalp woulds are famously bloody. So the 45% blood coverage doesn't mean that much. Once the blood was cleaned up, the lacerations were few and small. The jury will see that as well.
But you might be right. I can't predict what a jury will make of it. cn
