Nozzle in top feed system no centered over rockwool

Just a quick question. The nozzles in my hydro system are not centered or near the sprout in the rockwool. Instead, it's more over a corner or the edge of the rockwool. is this a problem? will the entire rockwool cube absorb some water or will it only be the area that the nozzle is over?

also another question, i got my pumps on for 15 mins every 2 hours. i see a lot of people have their pumps on more frequently but it seems as though the rockwool is retaining plenty of water in between 2 hour waterings; is this ok or should i water more frequently like other are?

This is just fine for drip. I would run my emitters 15 minutes only twice a day until I saw roots coming out the bottom. Once when the light came on and once 9 hours later. When I saw roots, I would increase to 15 minutes on 45 minutes off. When they started budding I would run them 15 minutes on 15 minutes off. You can let them run all the time once they start growing fast if you want. They love flowing water. If you have the emitters too close to the rock wool you can over water them and the leaves will curl in an arch. My friend used to always have water logged clones when he first put them in the system because he put his emitters right next to the rock wool cube.

Watering them off to the side and only a few times a day makes the roots search out water and spread faster. Don't give them much fertilizer until you see roots popping out the bottom, otherwise some of them will take off right away and some days later. In the end you get wildly different sized plants. You want even sized plants. Hope that helps.
