damn nobody yet but i wanna see im a little worry of barneysfarm seeds had one bad pack once......... but that was a while ago

I had a terrible experience with this strain from a single fem seed bought on attitude. the plant was a complete waste of my time. the dinafem critical + and og kush i grew next to it in identical conditions were golden and awesome. ill never again try to grow vanilla kush. in fact ive never seen any good vanilla kush in person either, its always sucked. i have no idea how it won a cup.

had a great time with barney's crimea blue tho, i would certainly grow that again.
Barney is well known for buying cups, so not much mystery behind how they win.
Tangerine dream is some of the worst bud I have ever seen and it somehow won a cup as well.

LOL same here, i had some horrible TD 3 times all bad. i feel that they must have an awfully attractive set up at the cup. they must pour all their effort into that.
to be fair ive had nice blue cheese, crimea blue, lsd, and violator kush. nothing to scream about, the blue hybrids were the best.

I’ve Grown Barney’s Vanilla Kush bought a ten pack of fem’s from the Attitude got 9 one was broken up, any way there was a lot differences in the plants at least 3 different Pheno types, one was tall with long spacesbetween the bud sets but they produced big hard nuggets of strong but rather almosttasteless weed there were 4 plants like that. I had another phenol type withmore branching very nice yield of large spongy but not airy bud nice up highbut tasted like smoking yard clipping had 2 like that. But not all was lost thelast three were worth the time and overhead, multi colas and short spaced budsets medium size hard buds with a wonderful spicy aroma and nice earthy hash taste. All weregrown in five gallon pots with my own potting mix under 2000 watts hps, I foundthat it wasn’t heavily crystalized their wasn’t a lot of color to it eitherover all I would rate it a 6 on a scale of 1 to 10. I wouldn’t grow it again. Orany of Barney’s strains I’ve grown tangerine dream pure crap but had only five seeds and all of them took too long at about 80 days and I didn’t find it allthat great mid-grade at best. And Pineapple chunk a lot more contestant and nicely crystalized buds firm and very fruity taste and strong Indica effect. I find that of the mid-priced seed companies The Bomb seed Company has some very good strains. The THC Bomb is very great so was the Cheese bomb and the Berry bomb was the best strain I ever grown for under 60 dollars. All were very stable strains, almost no differences between the plants a great single seed company.But that just my experience with Vanilla Kush maybe yours will be better goodluck.
I grew this for my first grow. 5 vanilla kush with 1 super lemon haze. The slh yielded double the best vanilla kush and was much much better. This was my first introduction to the idea that you would grow, breed, promote and sell something that had not one characteristic worthy of any of the aformentioned characteristics.
