I sometimes view multiple threads about the same thing too, and no, it doesn't. I see the same people talking about the same topic about what they just said in a different thread.
I'm not seeing true redundancy however. I am not seeing identical or even equivalent posts between threads. Some of the threads in question have fallen below the page 1 horizon, from where they're unlikely to get bumped much. cn

they have all been posted in within the last 10 days. a lot of them were bumped once i posted this thread. the same dozen or so people carry the same arguments throughout the politics section. i see it everywhere, not just in the gun threads. i could start pulling quotes, but i have better things to do with my time. :)
