Raising Capital / are loan sharks real?

What are some ways to finance a grow (around $5,000)? Is it possible to find an actual loan shark?

Interest rate doesn't have to be good, but the point of the venture is to make money, so it can't be crazy-bad.

I think bookies lend money? And maybe the cartel? Or does the cartel just front drugs?

Anyone know a good, online sub-prime lender? Or a cool trick to get extra cash?

I can loan you 2500, but if you don't pay me back 6000 in 6 months, your house might burn down, and your car might go missing.

Id NEVER grow for profit, but if i did id start small with a good yielder, then slowly build-up till my 5k goal was met.

^$5000 from a loan shark, a legal one at that. fine print says the APR for a typical loan of $5000 is 116.73%.

Now I got to thinking, is the $5,000 for initial cost? I mean if one is going to set up a grow for that much money how do you pay for the energy? Seems like another loan would be needed. Back up power? You lose your knees because of a power outage that caused your crop to hermie for instance due to stress. Plus now you have to sell your idea to some sort of organized criminal that probably has people that work for him. Whose to say right around harvest time you don't get jacked for the whole damn thing? Too many variables in taking a loan for something like this.

Thats about what I was thinking, although like $4500 back with a 4 month term. The consequences don't really matter if your playing on paying back the loan, and in the 'worst case' scenarios, your kind of all-in already.

Any idea how you find a loan shark? Or if it's such a bad idea, do you guys have any better ones? (Put this shit up on kickstarter :P)

Wtf?

"By using our website, you are conducting business on the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation and are subjecting yourself exclusively to the laws and jurisdiction of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, a Sovereign Native American Nation. "

Is that even possible?

Find out from your gambling friends where the supplier of their parleys are. You may end up in an Irish Bar or an Italian resturant
