Im thinking of ordering a 4x4 tent 4'8T5 and a Bigfoot ebb and flow system using scrog technique.Im new to indoor, but very intelligent and a quick learner. Any input? Is this Forum active?
Now finishing my 2nd HOT5 grow using an 8 bulb fixture.

If you are not doing a SCROG and haven't bought one get 3 @ 2-4 bulbs instead of one 8 bulb. I like the Quantum Bad Boy. It is open back, good for heat removal + each 2 bulb has their own reflector

Pics. FYI I just added the supplemental bulb yesterday. My thread is in my sig

Question: I am growing four Liberty Haze under a 2ft 8 bulb T5 fixture. I am running a full spectrum with 4 blue and 4 red bulbs. Plants are exactly four weeks from seed and are doing reasonably well, except starting to show signs of heat stress. I am having a tough time keeping the heat down under the lights. My night time temp runs at about 74 degrees but my daytime temps can up to 85 or 86 degrees. I'm running a fan and I also have an inline fan running to clear out some of the hot air. I had to raise the lights to about 10" above the plants so not to fry them. Any ideas on how to get my temp down? Can I raise the light a bit more - or will that stunt vegging growth. Any help or ideas would be great!!

PetFlora, your on point about buying 2-3@ 2-4bulbs instead of one single T5.I was originally going to order a single 8tube but decided to order two 4tubes so I can split them and use as side lighting once I get a couple of successful grows complete, and I decide to upgrade my lights to something stronger. Thanks for the input.

Unless you are growing 5ft+ plants, 2 bulb fixtures for side lighting is plenty; one on each side staggered for more coverage. If you are using individual pots you can simply rotate them every day

Im wanting to use a ebb and flow system and rockwool blocks. I can legally grow 12 adults so want to scrog also.My worries is as a novice, locking my plants into a scrogsreen and being unable to move them at all.Not knowing what problems may arrise ,is this an adviasable set up?Im considering a Bigfoot ebb and flow system by American Hydroponics and a set of 4x8 t5s.Any input from expiercend growers appreiciated.

Thanks so much to all who have contributed information here. Upon deciding that I needed some Zoomed Flora Suns, I looked at the local pet stores, and found none. If I need to order online, who has the best combination of price and customer service? I know I read some recommendations, but am having trouble finding them again in the 71 pages. Thanks for any semi-current information!

Induction light is just a mercury vapor lamp redesigned.
way wrong^^ no filament and was invented by Tesla in the late nineteenth century/...maybe you should fact check first.

oh and digital timers don't play nice with t5 bulb's longevity......use a mechanical one
