my experience in Denver a few weeks back
Was up for a job interview, it was my birthday and I have a valid AZ medical MMJ card. I tried 7 different dispensaries with zero luck. I tried "But its my birthday" so many times too. One gave it some serious thought and ws like the others and turned me down.
HOWEVER......
THey all told me that I could pay a Dr $40 bucks for a week long "pass" that would allow me to buy for one week between the hours of 5-8pm only
I specifically told them I was an AZ resident with a valid AZ MMJ card and that I did not live here. They referred me to a phone number and told me specifics. $40 bucks good for one week 5-8PM. 2 different dispensaries mentioned this to menope .. you have to be a valid CO resident with valid CO ID to get seen by a doc in order for them to reccomend MMJ
you got fed wrong info. You must be a Colorado res to get MmjI specifically told them I was an AZ resident with a valid AZ MMJ card and that I did not live here. There is a quick photo of the card, typical MMJ card I know but Im just passing on what was told to me
If I were you, I would go to Breckenridge. It's closer to Denver and easier to get to. It's also less expensive. The 'vibe' in Breck is also better, IMO. It's more laid back and there are more options for things to do. Talk to any bartender in Summit County and they will point you in the right direction concerning weed.Hello fellow RIU'ers. I hope you all had some nice holidays and spent time with the family.
I would like to you ask you guys/gals your opinion on which city in Colorado would be a good place to go on vacation?
I was thinking about Aspen or the ritz carlton in Avon, but I really like what I read about Denver, so im doing some research on it.
One of my main concerns is finding some nice dank over there when I get there. Im from out of state and being that it was recently legalized for adults over 21, would I have trouble finding some good quality dank? Which city would be best to find this nuggetry?
Thank you to all who share their insights.
There is talk about limiting to CO residents only. But it won't workFirst of all, I believe a valid colorado license will be required to purchase from retailers. Secondly, said retail shops don't exist and when they do, the selling of MJ by anyone not licensed will still be a felony under state law and federal law. Good luck. Even though it's everywhere it might be hard to find someone willing to sell you weed.
By who? There is talk about limiting to CO residents only. But it won't work
Just as HB1284 added a whole lot of restrictions not found in A20, the commission working on regulations surrounding A64 are getting regulation trigger-happy. There is an article on Westword.com that talks about it. THC limitations are also apparently on the table. Prohibitionists just can't give up their addiction to arresting cannabis users...By who?
No where in the amendment does it say anything about Colorado residents.
It just says 21 or older.
I agree with the qoute of getting laid in a whore house. My buddy that owns a dispensary in foco frequents a bar in Denver that is very friendly to the mmj community. he said everyone in there uses the cigarette type of vaps to smoke inside the bar. I'd look for a bar with folks vaping in there and start up a conversation. Really if you have any social skills at all, should be easy to get some weed. Amendment 64 spells it out clearly that anyone can give anyone weed. Local law enforcement no longer enforce any Marijuana laws, 55% of voters approved 64 so odds are in your favor to find someone who can help you out. If you can find a concert you like at Red Rocks, that is worth the vacation in itself.
