sorry to hear mate. my old dear had stents put in about 6-7 years ago, took her about a year to get back to full strength (and get her confidence back) but she's been all good since. just take it easy and avoid stress bongsmilie wish you a speedy recovery.

i'm here srh, went to bed early to start taking better care of myself
JJ2 take care of yourself, you don't want a heart attack EVER. it was like when my appendix ruptured and had kidney stones all at the same time but in my chest, not to mention the elephant that was sitting on me sucking all the air out of my body :eyesmoke:

Glad things had a turn for the better, any idea where the stent was put?

I could interpret your EKG for you, let you know the extent and where the blockage occurred....if you wanted to know that is.

Wow Sunnyboy...so sorry to hear this. I am glad you are ok and back at home. I am a heart patient myself, but never had an attack. I do get chest pains that bring me to my knees, so I can just imagine how much worse it was for you. Sorry for that, and glad you are okay.

i'm ok thanks for asking my friends.
my dad has had 2, his first one at 50.
my grandmother had a by-pass surgery planned in january, but she was killed by a drunk driver a week before christmas so she never lived to see the surgery. she was 46, the same age as i am now.
makes you stop and think about life and what's really important.
i had so much diluadid i was tripping, love that stuff
:eyesmoke:

EDIT: i'd rather die then have nitro paste again, they slapped that crap on my leg twice, gave me such a migraine i swear my head swelled twice the normal size
Same here they put me on a nitro drip within an hour I thought my head was going to burst I insisted they stop the drip,I was prepared to die rather than suffer the pain of migraine.

They have this saying YOLO You Only Live Once, so live every day like its your last!
Heart attacks are nothing to mess with, so keep your heart rates down, eat good, smoke good, and dont do anything too intense to make your heart rate speed up.
What kind of meds have you been on?
I'm sorry this happens. :(

Thanks for the info...did they happen to say if there was evidence of infarct or just a T.I.A or was Angina mentioned.

{I'm just curious is all, there's no need to share this if you feel uncomfortable in anyway}

Someone knows a lot about the heart... My mum had her second pacemaker installed this year at MacMaster hospital in Hamilton Ontario. They make a fucking iphone app to control the god damn thing I shit you not.

Mac is a world class hospital and I worked there for about 3 months filling in for another tech, I wouldn't say that I know a lot about the heart, but enough to get me a piece of paper for my wall ;-)

There are incredible advances in pacemaker technology.
