I finally got this, and went to play a game, but looked like a HS boy with his first girlfriend. How do you change the controller button layout? What the hell happened to receivers L1 and L2? And What happened to route audibles!?!??!!?!?!? Crazy changes. Like Apple changing the iPhone cord. Ass move.

I did; and didn't see any options to change the button layout. It just tells you what the buttons do for preplay, passing, running. etc. I cannot believe they did away with the "create your own playbook" from 2004. I had an insane Off and Def playbook. I had one pass play that nobody could stop.

After I play a bit and get used to the new style, I would love to play online.
 
clayton, when you go online make sure you know how to pinch and shift your o-line. You'll see people calling the same play defensively and firing through your line. You can usually see it how they set up their LBs or Nickel Back.
 
How do you start a season? The last Madden I had was '11. Every year before 13 you could start a franchise. I cannot find it in '13. I started a career player and gave that shit up as soon as I discovered you have no control over any play EXCEPt when you are on the field.
 
They took away franchise mode and replaced it with the build your career/player mode. I wasn't real happy about it.
