I don't know how far South you are, but my tap water comes out at 7.9 PH, so you may want to check into that.
I let my water sit overnight (to come to room temp, and evap off the chlorine), then use 1 capful of Distilled white vinegar per liter of water to bring mine down almost a full point, then add nutes, and after a couple months checked my soil, and I'm right at 6.6

Here is 66 days from sprout, but I've only had 2/3 of the CFL's in there for a week and half now, lights on 11/13 schedule.
