The fuck cats thread

If your gun jams and there's multiple people, it would be nice to have that helping hand while you grab your other gun or crossbow, every second spent at that time is precious.
what kind of life are you living where you have multiple armed people coming to your house to kill you on the regular?

don't you live at your mom's house and post off her phone? what kind of armed invasions do you have to fend off?

But seriously.. fuck cats. I'd choose a dog over a cat any day.

Most cats I've met, have had a history of being an absolute DICK.

Most dogs I've met, have had a history of being loyal and protecting their owner.

Dogs > cats any day.

easier and quicker to grab and fire a handgun over a long gun too, if you're worried about that kind of oddity. just about as likely to win the lotto as face that situation.

trolling has the wrong understanding of cats. they are not meant to be obedient or useful, although they can be both. they've been domesticated for far shorter and don't share the same genetic traits as dogs do.

the cats are much easier to keep and more entertaining than the dog anyway. we call them our entertainment slaves.
No, I can get that they're fun to play with, and yes my point was that dogs are more versital than cats, that was the point of this thread.

I like playing with dogs more too, they're way better entertainment, that's just an opinion tho so it doesn't count whichever who says it. My original post is stated as a fact.

You love dogs, yet you would put it in harms way. For shame.
One part of my training to carry a firearm was being able to quickly and accurately shoot. I still think I'm good. But also, if the gun jams, it's not that hard to fix a jam. One quick pull back of the slide and I'm good to go. If that fails, I will disassemble the gun and use the heavy parts to throw at people.
I wouldn't want it but a family sticks together, same reason why K-9s exsist, it's just in their instinct.

I heard that. If I lived in a neighborhood like that I would move.
Anything can happen...and I don't have any firearms and own a Chihuahua lol, my neighborhood is safe enough. I would get a gun and a bigger dog if it was up to me tho.

i mean, seriously. if you can afford thousands of dollars worth of guns, get your stupid ass to a nicer locale.

how many dogs excel at mousing? or general rodent control?

cats are more versatile than dogs in many respects.

Lol, so you go back to the old classic hunting rodents and fish argument, you make a list about why they're more versital and then I'll make one and we'll see who's list is longer...also, Jack Russell's were bread to catch mice and they don't do it for food but because they were trained to kill and move on, not to eat it...so yeah, already beat on that.

Please, proceed with your list, I am so ready for it.

He's got a point.

I mean, rodent killing? Dogs far proceed that list.

I get how cats are cool to look at and pet when they feel like getting a human touch. but honestly, there's no denying a dog is much more loyal and respectful of their owners than a cat is (for the majority at least). Still, I think cats are pretty cool. But like I said earlier, DOGS > CATS any day.

EDIT: "how many dogs excel at mousing?" LOL.

I feel yea, I had a pit/lab mix that would tear your face off if you even attempted to act like you were going to harm me. Damn I miss that dog.

Also UncleBuck if you think your safe just because your in a "safe" neighborhood you are sadly mistaken...the nicer your neighborhood the more likely you are to be robbed. Its my 2nd amendment and if it was up to me i'd have an armory in my house...no such thing as safe in the U.S. or anywhere...but i already know you think fire arms should be restricted...good luck fending off someone with a sawed off with you, your cat, and a knife.

I'll take a dog over a cat any day. I have met a few cats that were pretty cool, cooler than some dogs I met. Still more of a dog person though, its all opinion. Except I need to roll with dogs being more useful, that is if you're looking at your pets as items or tools rather than a part of the family. "my truck can go mud bogging!". "but my car is faster!". They both get you to the corner store, from there its preference.

I heard this one somewhere and have never forgotten it.

'The French are like cats you must first get to know one to truly dislike them'
