I've grown Ketama and Afghan Kush from World of Seeds. Afghan Kush was very nice. In fact, I'm debating whether to run it next or Herijuana. If you want a heavy indica to help you sleep, I recommend their Afghan Kush. It definitely carries a solid body buzz. The Ketama is supposed to be good but I did not get good results with it. It does not like much food or water and I gave it too much of both. I won't warn against it, just would say starve and dehydrate it for best results.

Id go with the emerald triangle, heard nothing but positive results from them. Rp gave a herm sour kush a year or so back, ive kept their freebies in my drawer ever since.

you do realize that all of those og's you put up on your list are far from pure indica .. that includes og kush 18, sour kush, kosher kush, bubba 76 and lost coast og...

if you're looking for a nice solid pure or almost pure indica, i'd suggest maybe some afghan kush or deep chunk by tim hil.. deep chunk would be pretty high on my list honestly..

the bubba 76 is pre 98 bubba x afghan 76 male so thats pure indica all the way the rest you are right. So basically la con and the world ofseeds kush landraces

you got the idea if u like heavy indica. pre98 is about the pinnacle in indica right now IMO. LA CON is another great choice, or the Tora Bora basically anything with the LA Affie in it is similar to the pre98 bubba. HOWEVER... those strains are LOW yielders sometimes without a little extra effort and/or time.

I myself i have that bubba 76, and a friend of mine as well. we both already have pre98 bubba, and are hoping that the 76afghan witll bump the veg growth up a bit. too early to say so far.

OG mixes are typically SATIVA plants that grow MOSTLY like an indica. some still carry an indica buzz, in fact most have at least some. its just not anywhere near the same kinda meds as bubba or la con.

Thought the bubba 76 was pretty solidly indica. 76 Afghan x Bubba Kush (which is pretty indica dom, unlike the OGs, no?).

Agree on Deep Chunk. I'd go with Tom Hill's haze for some pure sativa too.

yeah, my bad, i got a lil carried away there, lol... take the bubba off of me list and put it back on yours, lol.. :D

If you are buying from an online seedbank Stick with Sensi, Subcool , Attitude, Reserva Privada. but that is going to be a watered down version of what people are smoking. So the JillyBean from Subcool and the sensi star may not be the same funk as your local cut of it.

I'm very interested in the Ketama because where I live is very close to the same environment it's grown in. So I'm really hoping for something good from this.

I've never heard of this company or this strain. Have you grown it? What was your experience with it? It doesn't say much about indica/sativa so I'm curious which way it leans.

Good info thank you! I was really hesitant on growing my CC Pre 98 Bubba seeds because of others experience. I got very lucky and they are solid no herm. So I'm definitely going to try one but I'm going to keep a VERY close eye on it. Since all of what I grow is for my own use seeds don't really bother me. But it would have to be some very good smoke to have me keep running it.

You always have such good info. Thank you!

Hi racerboy71 good to see you. I'm looking for something that will work for pain and not mess up my head. One big reason stopping using cannabis back in 1976 was really easy was the pure sativas we had back then really tended to give you tachycardia with a real ugly side helping of paranoia.

However indicas just put me right so sleep. So I'm wondering if I might be able to find a hybrid that will help with the pain without the SVT/paranoia effects. Hence the sativa hybrids.

Yes I have some wonderful Pre98 from CC that I love. It just drops me right to sleep. But you're right it isn't a huge yielder but this is personal use only so I'm looking for the right pain profile, harvest amounts are not really a consideration.

Do you have a grow journal on your Bubba 76? I'd really love to follow along on that.

Hey OGEvilgenius thank you for helping me out with this. I'm really looking forward to the Bubba 76. I've been looking at Emerald Triangles Royal Purple Kush, any chance you've tried that? I'm staying away from the pure sativa's. That's all we had back in the day and that stuff could be like taking speed. I'm to old for that LOL.

I'm hoping I might find a hybrid that I could use during the day that wouldn't have the negatives but would give me more of a clear head and just not put me to sleep but relieve pain. I'm not asking a lot LOL!!

i aint popped my bubba 76 yet. i have a friend in detroit who just popped his recently.
Sounds like that or Mastodon Kush, or royal purple both from emerald triangle should be where you look.
i only have a pic of the pre98 bubba if u wanna see it. its still small, only about 4 weeks veg from a tiny "barely gonna make it" clone.

i like pre98 bubba i have a couple other mixes of it ive yet to pop: Ch9: bubba kush33. Emerald Triangle: grapefruit krush.
however only other ch9 bean ive ever tried turned out to be 100% male from "female" seed. so i cant say much about them.

If you want it purple go with the royal, i think mastodon is sold out on the tude. if u dont give a damn about purple id prolly stick with the 76. i think the 76 is a sweeter afghan than the black, which im geussing is spicy.

if you are worried about falling asleep we are talking about you being confused on what u need as meds vs what you enjoy smoking. especially with the strains weve helped u narrow it down to.

I like la con but it does not put me to sleep just vary relaxed and chill with a big smile. It is pretty good for pain and makes me hungry .great taste and smell.Kosher is really good but it is head and body .The head high is strong on the kosher like on a trainwrck or perma frost, but with a strong body high.I grew the afgan kush auto last year and it smelled and tasted great and wasnt super strong and could be smoked during the day.I want to try the non auto one as i hear it is good for sleep, good luck in your search.

I've also grown Grapefruit Krush by ET and was little smaller, but was one of the tastiest strains I ever grew.

I didn't have much luck with RP Sour Kush. Kind of a runt plant and had more of a sativa pheno than I was expecting. Someone actually ripped it on me last week of Sept with 3 weeks left to go on it. Glad they got that one and not the Lost Coast. Ripped my patch just a few days after I harvested my other plants. I got lucky.

Yeah I can also reccomend emerald jack by emerald triangle. I've grown we'll over 20 strains from seed and emerald jack is the only so far I plan on keeping for a long long time.

Bag appeal & smoke: looks DANK! Very dense beautifully formed buds. Nice pinecone shaped (but bigger, huge dense buds) smells almost fruity. Did I mention dense and dank. Smoke is energetic but gets you lit. Hard to sleep on. For that reason not good late night.

Growth: Xmas tree. Not very full allowing good light penetration. Branches aren't thick so you'll want to tie branches up because buds are so heavy. Also great for bag appeal bc the stems in buds are so small and weigh nothing. Yield is great. I've been getting 4+ per plant (6plants under each 1000) got like 8+ off the first one. It was tall (6+ft)and I slacked hard, always letting it wilt bad before watering.

Interested in veneno report.Vegging one now that I've had for a year+
