4 weeks budding under cfl and really small buds burnt leaves??

just me lol you got all those lights but hardly any big buds. Last grow i used 6 23w cfls and one small desk t fixture and i had a cola that size as yours last time. I even have pics to prove it no mylar film either.

Plant was 4-1/2 ft tall northern lights haze cross in a 5 gallon bucket.

Seems to me like u dident make use of all that light.

I simply dident calculate light on this plant i got more light total this time but not enough for the size of plant before i had 1 socket with a y adapter in it with 2 more y adapters one on each side of the first adapter looked kinda like spider legs i had that above the plant 4 bulbs then an extention cord with 2 light sockets plugged into it on each side 2 bulbs and that was hanging alil below the top and i got the same size of plant u have

never said i dident like what u said im simply saying by all means your pics there dont show a prize winning plant i prolly could have gotten more out of it thats all.

I know every strain is different. That is also why im having trouble i fed it more then the strain wanted the northern lights crop i did loved nutes and used em up pretty good.

This strain of purple hybird burn to hell and im somewhat recovering from it.

Also the roots are deff bound so theres no where grow nemore would need a transplant which at this point is pointless.

...lol, you never said you DID like it either dude and your tone was insulting and illustrates that you didn't understand that those pictures i posted were to help you see a cheap light setup, ...if you recall you were asking about lights? ...if i'd wanted to post bud shots i'd have done so but then they wouldn't have been much help to you, just me showing off.

...so i posted pics of a light setup you can put together for cheap that doesn't require any electrical knowledge to do it, ...but like i said, what you do with the free advice you get is entirely up to you.

i know im learning new things slowly each time i plan to add side lighting my next venture and make sure that i can somehow keep light out fully during budding.

The person forgot what the strain was exactly so its hard to say what it needs. It has talked back and said i breath and im weak my immune system hasnt had its normal intake of nutes just too much of something thats not working.

The lockout of nutes from too much cheap bone meal could have been the culprit burnt the hell.

i mixed in soil to specs i saw in a post on here somewhere. idk only thing i can think of is the roots was bound when i added some bone meal so there was no room left to grow.

Ill be cautious next time

I have this supposed purple plant its been budding for about 4 weeks it has been topped 2 times leaves are getting crispy brown where turning yellow now there kinda browning and dry and brittle i cut off a bunch of bud blockers a week and a half ago along with some browing curling looking ones. Today i trimmed off a few more browning tip and edge ones and a couple that where blocking big bud sites.

I realize i prolly fed it too much i was using bonemeal and alil guano. I have since flushed. So anyways the buds appear tiny allover the plant I gave it some molasses and after 2 days they seem like they might have gotten alil fatter but really there puney.

I had been told that if you take a couple bottom lower buds/branches off then the top half with the bigger buds will grow much bigger and pack on weight??? is this true??? i hope i dident ruin my crop completely in not really a newbie but im not really an expert.

Plant is in a big plastic pot over 5 gallon id say and has fox farm ocean forest for soil and is about 6-6-1/2 ft tall from the bottom of the pot to the top of the top cola. Lighting is one 65w 300w eqi cfl 2700k and one 55w 200w eqi 2700k and the walls have mylar film on them cheapo thin blankets.

From the looks of it there is maybe an eighth wet. Kinda terriable if you think about it i vegged for 2-1/2-3 months it was getting too tall for the light even after 2 toppings so i flowered her. last week i added a second light to help the thing grow bigger buds. A 200w which hangs and points at the side alil more then half way up the plant and the other light is above the main cola im running out of room hopefully it stops stretching .

The current light cycle as of last week is 14/10 a guy told me to do that to make it bud quicker dont know if this is true.

120w divided by 2 bulbs for a 4 1/2-5' plant? Not enough.
The 200w equivalent will help, but the other thing I noticed is you said 14/10.............
What is that? simulating beginning of season?
What some guys say, and I am actually experimenting with now, is 11/13, 11 light, and 13 dark to simulate the shorter days at the end of the season, not the opposite.

Equivalent doesn't matter, its the actual that matters. So your only running 120W to your plant...And remember your using CFL's. The light isn't reaching properly to 4 to 5 feet of your plant...I do what siq does, I run 5 lights and place them at different spots, top and sides, about 2" away. Lighting. Matters.

yeah but im using 4 lights all from one outlet plug i dont wanna overload and cause fire or something havent figured out how many more i can run off of a 15amp circut i believe. I could get a few more. Idk so far it almost looks like a half oz and the buds are starting to get red hairs a couple of them ill hit it with some molasses water tomorrow and then wait a couple days and hit it with reg water im thinking its gonna finish off here soon. Too bad becuase it appears that there aint many more weeks left doubt much more weight will pack on. The most id be able to add is say 2 more lights. the place im using was already skeptical about the extra 2 i added

I'm running 305w of CFL's plus a 6" fan and still can run a microwave and coffee maker off the same 20a circuit.

Also ive herd that darkness increases tric production say on the last day 24/7. Then others say more light produces more???

Im doing 10 on and 14 off but of course i got slight light leak can anyone confirm what is true and what isnt??? will my buds be less potent just because im on 10/14 instead of 12/12. Also have herd the yield would be alot less at 10/14??? How true is this.

Light leak will affect you, and Trichs degrade in light.

Exactly and this is what confuses me... People say that, but then will bash people when they have a first grow which looks stretched and skinny, or the light isn't enough or they're using tin foil instead of mylar... I don't get why people bash each other instead of helping people improve.

Those size pots are used to grow monsters. Your lights have way too little lumens, its a easy investment of 10$ to buy some good Carbs.
Easier to spend another 50$ if that for a nute trio that would help save you in situation like this. I Started using the proper tools and nutes and my yields Tripled or more.
Quality rose and over all healthyness of the plant was way better. Also at the last minute before flower Invested in a 400W hps.
If you want to use big pots, grow monsters otherwise, It will remain water logged too long or tough time controlling a overall ph in the medium. If precautions werent met beforehand. Like sensisensai 3 cfls is WAY too little light to try and flower a monster.
