IE - Marijuana seized worth $180,000; two arrested

Seventy-nine marijuana plants and 13 pounds of processed marijuana worth a total of $180,000 were found Friday, Jan. 11, on a property in Jurupa Valley, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said.


Authorities received a tip of a growing operation in a residential neighborhood, the 900 block of Rutile Street. A search warrant was served. Besides the marijuana, deputies found two guns and stolen property, a news release said.


Arrested on suspicion of cultivation of marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale and possession of stolen property were Alberto Aguirre, 25, and Francisco Ponce, 53, both of Jurupa Valley.

13 pounds plus what looked like 15 flowering plants with a pound or two on them.

They always say its worth more then what it is, they go by the amount a plant can produce not the amount it does produce. Usually they say 10-15 pounds per plant no mater how big it is. You could be growing 6 inch clones and they will say each one is worth $10,000 when a clone is only worth about $3-$5.

What they do is give each seedling/clone/plant the maximum potential yield then they take the yield and cut everything down to street level which is why they have a pound costing 10 grand...fuck the police.
