Any exp growers out there to help me out? She's not overwatered I only water /feed twice a week. Waiting till pot is almost dry before watering. Two out of the six of my plants are doing this. Temps around 75 day 60 night. Purple kush with organic medium and organic nutes. Been growing this strain a few years now and haven't run into this problem before. Thanks for any advice.

I have seen that condition on my plants when one of two things occur; they need watering or the humidity is too low.

You've been growing the same strain in the same medium using the same nutes?

Yes, nothings changed with medium or nutes for 2 years. I have nice clean well water. Ph a bit high but, they are used to it by now. And yes, same strain.

Mine droop if they need a watering, how's that doing?

The 2 have had the droops for about a week now. No improvement even after a good watering. Low temps I thought could be an issue but, this strain is pretty resiliant to the cold. And i've had it down to 58 in the past during flower and it never bothered them before.

7 weeks into flower and you are worried about that? My guess is your plant is just showing signs of maturity, it's not like you are in vegetative growth. Heck mine do that and some get to the point where the lower fan leaves fade some - like a Blue Dream fixing to finish YAY!

Of course I could be wrong. :joint:

I'm not concerned with the leaves fading. I feed light doses of N up until 6 weeks of flower. I know i'm close to harvest but, I try and keep my ladies tip top until then. So droopy leaves through half of flowering concerns me.

I have a commercial blower fan in the bottom of my room. It's set on low at night but, wondering if the cold basement air at night is cooling down my roots. I always put my 2 biggest plants in the back right in front of the fan. It's never been a problem before with this strain. Could that possibly attribute to the leaf drop? I grow these same ladies outdoors in the northeast and they can take a couple frosts before harvest. I'm stuck mainly because i've done so many runs with this strain.

I had this problem while doing an attic grow during winter. I'm not 100% sure....but, I thought of every aspect of my growing style/feeding and environment during this i found that during lights off my RH was going as high as 70-80%, And the grow space temps were dropping to between 1-11 degree's Celsius so the only time the room temps and RH were correct was when the lights were on. I came to the assumption that the root zone was getting to cold which would (i think) affect the water/feeding solution uptake and the health of the roots. This is all in my opinion but i think it may help or give you something to look into maybe. Peace

Man, that could be right on. My humidity during lights on is 30% most days. Night humidity can climb to 50%. Maybe the fluctuation of 20% is not doing them any favors. Might try and run my dehumidifier at night around 35% see if it helps. Thanks for the input.
