crazy bud growth...

Buds have all cloudy trichs...have seen one or two amber....bud they're growing like crazy...calaxes stacking up n knotting up all over bud w white pistils shooting everywhere....its growing so much its noticeable every 12 hours....I can't get myself to chop w this happening...how long will she do this....she was kinda stunted..gave her a shot of Epsom salts n two days later bam...its been on ever since....

For one reason or another, I have had 'foxtailing' happen in the past. I too was up in the air over when to chop but you have to see this as a majority rules issue. It appears in the photos that over 90% of the buds are mature. Photographs do not tell the whole scene so only you know where they are at. If you agree with the 90% or better being ready for harvest, then you should do so. If you allow for the 10% new growth to mature, your 90% will be over-matured.

yea me to, had some fox tailing last summer Bc. of high temps, did`t care much tho, think of it as extra smoke as its for me only, just know its not a good sign to have a Indica foxtailing in late flowering, sign of some kind of stress (heat in my case with +32C)

I did let em go a week or so more then I would have and like 10 days more then "recommended", great smoke guess it was a good mix of both worlds (high and stoned)

That's a bubbleicious auto...here's my plan for now...all trichs are cloudy n that's usually where I chop...but since the buds are doing this ima wait for her this time..just a little...my gut just won't let me chop em when they're packing on weight like this...I understand this is a crucial time so ima keep a close eye on trichs not to let em over ripen...put the word amber in there where it fits I missed it

Its just you!! ;) j/k bro! Hell yeah, I see purple & looks like red in it! Looking good! I cropped out one of my 8 Ball Kushes the other day! Here's a pic!


Ps. I could've let her go a week or two more! But hell no worries cause I have a shit ton more 8 Ball Kushes flowering anyways is why I'm not sweating it! ;) just wanted some smoke & didn't have any $, so I did what a brothers gotta do!! ;) I did selective cropping on that one anyways, to let the "bottom" buds fatten up alittle more..

Nice pics man.
It almost looks like in pic 2 right by the top you might have some amber already, but with all the new growth, I would wait a couple days at least.;-)

Thanks everyone...yeah there's purple in there...and red.. they turned all kinds of pretty colors.... n that 8ball kush has caught my eye...my first was Barney's farm critical kush....its was a super strain
