What CFL's for a personal closet grow?

I've looked up several threads in which it has given me an idea of what to use but when it goes on describing everything for eight paragraphs with watts, lumens, and different light it's just too much. For one plant in a closet 2'x3' with height about 7' and I'm using two clamp lights which I'm willing to get splitters for more bulbs also line the wall with foil to make better use of the light. Please simplify it and keep disrespectful comments to yourself. I know I later around the flowering stage I'll switch bulbs but please spell it out what and how many for veg. ? And what and how many for flowering? Real short and specific please so I can just pick them up at homedepot.

Ok, im on my second CFL grow (2nd ever lol) both doing 1 plant at a time. General rule of thumb to go by is 100w per plant, but thats not always the case depending how big/bushy your planning to grow it. Also can be done with less if you plan on keeping it small. If i were you in that space id get 2 splitters for those clamps and put a 5000k 23w and 6500k 23w in each differnt light. Giving your closet a mixed spectrum (more like the natural outdoors). Hope this helps

Put as many 6400K bulbs as will fit in your grow space, and manage the temperature in with fans (intake and exhaust). Swap the 6400K bulbs for 2700K bulbs during flower.

Short and specific.

With CFL, you want all of the leaves to be as close to the light as possible. So, many small bulbs are probably better than a few large ones. I use 23 and 26W. Once they're past the seedling stage, it is hard to have too much light with CFL. 100-150W is the minimum, but this is also based on the size of the plant and the method of grow: natural (tall), LST, etc.

Don't use foil like from the kitchen. Flat white paint works great. Mylar or similar products is another option. To be honest, because of how quickly CFL falls off, I am not so sure it is even worth it. If you have a light up close to the plant, light from one side of the bulb might travel a couple of inches. The other side's light travels all the way to the wall and back, and then those couple of inches. If you upgrade to more efficient lighting, reflective surfaces will be more useful.

6 sq ft, a 23 watt cfl( which i think is the largest u can get in stores withouth having to order online)puts off around 1600 lumens, there are different takes on lumens per sq. ft. but lets say ur shooting for 2000 lumens per sq ft. minimum. 12000 lumens minimum total to light your room. 8 x 23 watt bulbs gives you a total of 12800. so a minimum of 8 x 23watt bulbs, id throw some more in if u can though

I vegged one plant in a 2x2 area, with 46w (2x23w) of 2700k and 52w (4x13w) of 5000k and it came out nicely.
After 14 days of 24/0, and 16 days of 18/6.
Plant is 12" wide and 10" tall.6dec10_zpsa6eea805.jpg

Nice looking plant. 30 days to this point, right? Are you going to have it go to bud now? What do you expect to get off of this one plant?

I'm in the dead of winter here in Connecticut, and I am dying to get something started that I can grow, and then smoke quickly!
