Tired of typing in blocks

For some reason my enter button will not skip lines going down and my arrows don't allow me to space my typing either. I have noticed a couple other guys talking about this same problem... I don't want other users to have to read my big blocks of annoying texts anymore. Any ideas on why this is happening?

I had the same happen and I remember fixing it, but I forgot exactly how :/
