Let's talk about this stupid immigration issue

Canndo they avoid the immigration system because for mexicans the wait is 18 years
For most of the rest of the world a visa is obtainable in 8 months

You know how I hate anecdotal - but it is what I am going on now because I can't figure a way to determine motiation other than having talked to loads of illegals.

They are not interested in giving up their Mexican citizenship - in fact many of them have told me that I am not free - "Mexico es libertad". They don't want American citizenship, they simply want to be able to work here unencumbered. Eventually they develop roots and many want their chlldren to be citizens- but many also want that because it will afford them some amount of security and they see possibilities. They also don't much care about speaking the language - or so they say - so long as someone in their family is "embeded" and that includes fluency. From my perspective, they avoid the immigration system because the needn't bother, 18 years or 18 weeks.

Quote the number of illegals the cross the Canadian border. Since your flinging shit here let see how much substance it has
I can't think of but a few cities that have significant expansions across the Canadian border - What? Detroit? Seattle/Victoria Montreal? I don't know my geography very well. How about that San Diego/Tijuana border? and those Texas points? Seems like there are more opportunities let alone more incentive - most Canadians don't much care to be here rather than there. Or am I wrong?

I have run numbers that indicate that even allowing for the taxes that illegals pay, the contribution to the national work force and their being consumers - we would be better served to actually round up all illegals and deport them. The cost is NOT prohibitive.

Any thoughts?
where these numbers then?
just wondering??
uh too helpless to google amnesty cost?
he made the claim its up to him to back it up

Thats my point, desperate shit flinging hoping for something to stick. Canndo the problem in dealing with illegal immigration comes from your political affiliation refusing to see facts. They choose a finger in the ears NANANA approach. It seems they want the problem to get so big its impossible to do anything about it ignoring the fact it has the possibility to destroy us financially.

Most immigrants have no intention of staying permanently. But they end up doing so anyways.

We fucking know chesus repeating a stupid fact doesn't make it less stupid. They already account for 32% of all our immigration which is already unfair to others, we cannot ignore all other nationalities nor can we just approve everyone.

you are aware of the existance of ladders, right? and the fact that half of illegal immigrants came here legally, right?

or are you just doubling down on that distinctive flavor of southern stupidity?

How is it unfair?
Who are we excluding?

We solved the immigration issue easily in the 1950's, google "operation wetback", it's so simple it's laughable that we have so much back and forth when we've solved it before, and easily could again if we actually wanted to. But many people both conservative and liberal have reasons for not wanting, conservatives want the cheap labor...
If you think ONLY conservatives want cheap labor, you haven't been paying attention.

I thought libs were the party of unions? Now I've heard some allegations within the past few years of some unions changing their view towards illegals, but all the union guys I've known in my life were whiter than white 'mericans complaining about both illegals and non union workers. (and prevailing wage) Shit to get into the steamfitters union you have to have a relative already in it.
