My step son has done 15 years of a 20 year. He started to wright to a couple of woman some in the US and some not. This week end a woman from Texas came to Wa. to see my step son. She is a school teacher with a MA. and she is working on a DR. so she has a brain so I just don't get it. He is a good looking guy and has spent a lot of time pumping iron and is ripped. He's doing time for armed robbery kid napping and atempted murder. I don't know if she knowes what he's doing time for. I also don't think he has told her that he has a couple of these woman that he wrights to. I just can't see it. WFT

Some women have this weird leaning towards hardened men because they think they have the power to help heal and rehabilitate them with their love. It's the same thing when women go to animal shelters and buy the most aggressive one.

"hardened men" = PROTECTIVE men. A woman is inherently, undeniably attracted to a man who can demonstrate that he can protect her...through SOCIAL STATUS/STANDING within "the pack" (getting beta males to fight FOR him) and by his own physical means


she wants ensured protection for herself and her offspring. a hook up for a man is something he can do multiple times/day...for a woman, it's a 9-month ordeal followed by raising that kid


so the saying goes "a woman needs a reason to have sex....a man needs a place"


it's a biological trick

She is much less apt to received the former and more apt to receive the latter.

if i were to base my opinion solely on episodes of "lockup", i'd have to say that these women are just plain deluded. there was that one dumbass who married a guy while he was in prison and got a GIANT tattoo of his name down her leg and was obsessed with him, and he got out and told her to fuck off so she turned the tattoo into another guy's name. you can just tell she has no self esteem and is a moron to boot.

then some other chick packed her kid up and moved over 1000 miles to be closer to this guy in prison (that she saw on lockup) and they got married but he's never getting out. it shows this lady reading comments on the internet about other women who are also obsessed with this guy and she's saying shit like "i hope they know he's just using them to put money on his account. he's just fucking with them. what WE have is REAL." the whole thing is so very hilarious and sad at the same time.

my guess is that most of the women who go for this type of thing have very low self esteem and are easily manipulated. it's like they enjoy the fact that they can't be cheated on the same way a free man could cheat on them, and of course the man is genuinely happy to carry on a relationship with a woman. it's not that no good comes of it, it's just that the women are idiots.

being pen pals and friends and shit is one thing, but to claim to "dedicate your life" to someone who has a vested interest in manipulating you for personal gain, someone who is just as accessible to thousands of other women who are also "dedicating their lives" is a sign of a fucking moron.

I under stand what my step son wants control as well as sex. He was married to some women after he was doing time but she was screwing people he knew so that ended. He is the alpha dog for sure. I just wasn't sure what the woman got out of it. I think all of the above things and not just one thing. I guess the woman get what ever comes.( No pun intended)

IMO, it's mostly stalker chicks that end up marrying prisoners. Nobody likes a stalker so they can't get with anyone, but a prisoner doesn't give a fuck (he'd be glad a chick is stalking him) so it's their last option. Just a hypothesis, its probably true though.

Umm this is a difficult one, I personally like a man to be a proper man if you get my meaning. One that will protect you, that you feel safe with, but on the other hand one that will love you and not be afraid to show it. My husband was a rough ass country boy he'd fight at the country dances, he wouldn't back away from anyone and wouldn't be spoke down to he had and still has a bit of a reputation for speaking his mind and being fiery and not someone to be messed with. But to see his reaction when our children were born was amazing,to watch him love and play with them you would not believe he was the same person, he is older now of course but still has that fiery temper the day our first grandchild was born he was expecting to go to jail his crime protecting his son, when he held his grandson he cried and my daughter and two sons cried because he did to see such a strong hard man cry was to much for them. So perhaps it's the hard man thing these woman like I think most woman like a proper man but to be with one who could inflict such violence onto someone else for self gain I don't think is attractive and I personally couldn't commit to. But I have to say a lot of my friends went for the bad boys when they were young but not many survived marriage, perhaps that's the secret they visit them in jail but don't have to live with them full time.

Let me give u some inside on that , now... from the experience , being Lock Up there's nothing to be proud of ... but to touch on that subject DON'T TRY TO UNDERSTAND THE WAY THE WOMEN THINK HEHEHHEEH !!! They r not even understand they own way of thinking sometimes hehehehe :D
