MG Soil

I used outside soil on my first grow because I didn't know any better and just wanted to see if I could get it to grow. Well, I ended up getting a lot of bugs. That's when I did some reading and someone told me to transplant into store bought soil and clean the grow area really well. So I did, and never had any more bug problems. I have gnats from over watering sometimes, but I used miracle grow and didn't have problems until flowering. When flowering started my leaves turned yellow and I thought it was dying but all I needed was more P instead of K which mg is plentiful of K. I bought some schultz bloom plus to fix the P and she turned green again.

I would like to know some soil mixtures that are used from some of you.

When you say RH your talking humidity right?

I bought MG moisture control so you can't over or underwater, is this just as bad as normal MG?

yes, RH is humidity.

I know MG can cause lots of nute burn when flipping to flower, I planned on trying to completely flush since i dont even no the nutrients in the soil currently....

Don't flush reg MG it dumps time release nutes..Maybe at the end when they are used up.

Scotts hyponex potting soil is what I use now. 7-1-3

MG's organic is OK but still other things i would rather use. and i use their perlite. other than that i will never touch MG. i know better.

exactly. what happens when you feed a little too much or something and you need to flush the soil mid grow? its just going to make things A LOT worse.

It's possible to overwater with ANYTHING, but the moisture control still has the little nute balls in it like the regular stuff.

if you veg for two months (wich i plan to do), the soil will have used up the majority of the nutes and can easily flush it at that point.


Was hoping it would be cool to flush it now, I know it will release the nutes, but i figured if i watered with 3 gallons, then flushed with another 3+ gallons, it would flush
the nutes that were released....

You can do like I did with last plant......... Just peek around the top of the soil whenever you look at the plant, and before you water.
Those little balls show up even when you don't disturb anything, and just pick 'em out whenever you happen to see one.

lol well obviously not over feeding helps but for the people that do on accident are just kinda fucked at that point unless all the nutrients in the soil have already been used up.

Why not just leave her and work on your watering habits, and basics?
Controlling overwatering is not only how frequent, but also how much.
Enough to get runoff is good, but don't flood her all the time.
