Air intake 24/7? (short post)

Hey RUI, quick question

I'm running a couple lights in a 110 square foot room. Its 8 plants total at the moment, so theres a lot of extra space. I also have 3 fans in there moving air around. Can I get away with only running my air intake when the lights are on? Or do I need constant air turnover every 5 or so minutes...

:bigjoint:Thanks! +rep for response

outtake air is more important you generally have enough fresh air coming in without an intake. id suggest putting in an outtake and running your intake at 25% of your outtake air.

Thats how I have always done it.. the intake should always be smaller than the exhaust.. I never use a fan to intake. only use them on the exhaust. :peace:

Ok, I should have been more specific, cuz thats not what I was asking at all. It is an exhaust. I run the air in my room through the lights and out the ceiling. What I'm asking is: can I turn the exhaust off at night with the lights or does it need to be on all the time. They are in veg right now - and there aren't a lot of plants in there for the size of the room... plus the three oscillating fans
