i'm not a religious person and this article has a lot of jesus talk in it, but it made me feel kind of good. it's a little long but a good read.

she left in november but is just starting to go public about it because she "doesn't know what to say". it's about her quest for truth and her trying to figure out life without the brainwashing.

if someone wants to move it to another section, fine, but i don't think it needs to be a strictly religious discussion or a political one. more of a "well look at that" sort of thing. it brightened my day a bit.

She quit because it dawned on her that killing people for their beliefs doesn't work because then they can't repent.

Not because it's wrong to kill your fellow man or anything like that.

Nope.

And then that article tries to make us feel sympathy for the dumb bitch.

LMFAO

real Baptists ignore these folks... any "Christian Church" (or any Church) spreading hate is not a Church it a " tax except hate group"
I think most Christians ignore this church.

Jesus said the one of the greatest commands was to treat others how you would like to be treated. Must be awkward to bring that up during one of their services.

So glad she left that hate filled cult.

Everyone should ignore them, then they would have no platform.
In theory that is an excellent idea. . .until they show up at a loved ones funeral spewing their vile hate.
I would see red.
Naahhh - I would MAKE RED !

That behavior crosses the line between "turn the other cheek" & turn that Moth3r Fu(k3r inside out !
