So this bagseed i have was doing great, got super bushy super quick, then it hit this standstill and began to claw. Everything i look up about clawing says N overdose. I flushed the medium, then the next day watered with lowered N. Only been a day since all that, but it almost seems like its getting worse. Anyone conquer clawing before and know whether or not what i did was the right thing and how long to expect it to go away IF i did the right thing?

Sorry for the noob post lol.

how often do you water ? and do you let the soil dry out good in between ?

clawing mostly appears in flowering in my experience, and look a bit different, that more look like over watering of maybe a PH issue ?

well it looks a bit droopy in those pics because it just got flushed with tap water, then rewatered with lower N water. Its watered about every 3-5 days. I determine when to water by sticking my index finger 2 inches into the soil and making sure its dry or barely damp. And i have a ferry morse ph tester but it seems to read 7.1 for everything, my armpit, soil, tap water, milk. Really anything i stick it in its 7.1 give or take. So i dont know if i wanna say its accurate lol.

Dude - you OD it on nitrogen and flush. Then you give it more nitrogen? The pH tester doesn't obviously. The "finger stick" method for watering is 100% unreliable. Go by the weight of your container/plant instead.

very low nitrogen, was 6%. May have been a slip, if it was ill just water with plain water and wait.

You need to get a reliable and accurate pH meter cause your meter isn't working properly.......... 7.1 pH is too high and will inhibit nute uptake on many elements. It should be closer to 6.4-6.5 tops. And 6% Nitrogen is rather high, not low.

the smaller one next to it is doing great at 8-8-8. But its also a blue widow which i got just because its an easy to grow strain. The bagseed though was on 8-8-8 but started to do this. Next time the medium dries if the problem hasnt gotten better ill probably water with 3% or so. Thats if though.

Get a different pH tester, those cheaper soil pH testers are not accurate. If it is reading only 7.1 calibrate it if it has that option. I suggest the Oakton Eco ph testr, the 1 or 2 version. About 50-70 bucks.

hotrod is correct. Too much N. You said you flushed but then fed N again. Allow those pots to dry out almost completely and "water only" until that claw and canoe goes away. It can take some time. Do not fed again until issue clears up. You need to maintain proper pH so these issues come up less often and are easier to deal with when they do.
