Michigan's Underground Garden

Lots of new gear and projects are happening in 2013. I figured I would just create a thread for anyone interested in what was going on. I will still be updated all of my other threads but they will also appear on here.

The Garden:
Veg: I have two veg locations. One is a cabinet built into my flower room. Its roughly 6x6x3ft tall. I have(2) 125w cfl and (1) 200w t5. I also a have a 2x2x4ft tall tent. This has a 8 bulb t5 light that's about 400w.
Usually my garden is non-perpetual and I will throw all the plants that I want to flower and veg them under my 600's for a week or two also. But now since im going to be running in Super Soil I might just get a bigger tent or another one

Flower Room: My flower room is 8x5x7ft tall. (2) 600 watt HID with 6in Cooltube reflectors that run on lumatek ballasts. 425 cfm fan pulling air threw a Phresh filter, threw the lights to cool, and goes directly out side. I have a air intake that runs every hour for 15 min. Titan Atlas CO2 monitor that runs a bottle. usually set at 1200-1500 ppm. Custom flood table so I can just flush plants and not have to worry about a mess. 60 pint dehumidifier and I do use a drip irrigation if needed.

I've been running coco. all future plants entering the flower room will be in SS and no flushing will be needed. This table pretty much just takes the place of using catch trays and if I decide to do some side by sides with coco ill be able to flush my plants completely without any mess. table drains to waste. Main reason I built this is because my concrete was not level at all so I wanted a nice flat floor with some fall to catch my runoff.

right on man, i gotcha. your gonna love the ss, makes things so simple and easy. i feel like the only time i really need to "work" on my plants is in veg, once they start budding they are on cruise control. is the recent dispensary ruling gonna change things for you? i know it sure will for me...

Yes and no. I usually am way under on plant numbers and have 4 patients to take care of, so my meds usually go quick. If I ever have any major overages I have a guy that works with a few dispensary's that takes it off my hands. So not too sure what is gonna happen there. I just find it ridiculous that they want to take away safe access for meds. Doesn't make any sense. Its all gonna go back on the streets. Not everyone has the time or passion to grow so I think the demand will still stay strong. I have a full time job and I mainly do this because its what I love to do. So if all else fails Im gonna stay high and happy!

Here's a few last shots of my SilverKush from Reserva Pravada. I've been growing this particular pheno for almost a year and love it. Always produces nice dense nugs and fairly easy to grow. It is a heavy feeder and does best when topped multiple times. The smoke has a nice fruity taste with a punch of fuel. Pry wont see it back in the flower room for a little while but it def wont be leaving the garden View attachment 2524187View attachment 2524186

IMG_0641.jpgIMG_0643.jpgIMG_0645.jpgIMG_0650.jpgMade up some water hash yesterday and everything turned out great. I say the key to making the cleanest product IMO is using r/o water for everything. Ice cubes, mixing water, and in your sprayer. I hand stir my batches for about 5 min. After everything is collected it goes into the freezer for about 20 min before it gets shaved on the micro planer. Another important step in the drying conditions. I spread the hash out as far as possible and dry it in a cool room with about 20% humidity. Should only take a day to dry out enough to enjoyIMG_0653.jpg
