i think i still have a catalogue from back then somewhere. I remember buying them and BC Seed Co's Norther lights x Blueberry as well! Emery had such a wicked selection too!
You could be right, I have never personally grown DJ's BB because of the price tag. I have seen many threads were people were just not happy with the stability of the plants like subcool's BB thread for instance. I did the Joey Weed version and got 2 very different females, and when you look at the results from E$kos BB project there is a lot of variation. Everybody is always looking for a good cut of BB so the great phenotypes can't be that easy to find. DJ himself says that only 1/100 plants are the whole package. Not to mention, if you are only going to grow one plant you probably are going to want fem seed which is even more likely to herm. IDK, it seems hybrids have a lot more stable results and still have the BB flavor.Really man? I've only ever had the opposite. Ive grown 6 packs of DJ's blueberry over the last 10 years and had nothing but similar results, fairly short compact buds coated in resin. Also haven't had one hermie. Ive had hermies with other strains but not blueberry yet *touches wood*. I may have been lucky and got only good seeds though...
blue widow is also an awesome strain too, equally as good and a really nice buzz
Sounds like you're right dude, been lookin on the net and found a few people saying they have had issues with his gear, hmm i'm thanking my lucky stars that i've had good luck with mine. Ive had a couple that started out as mutants but they quickly turned into good solid plants. I havent bought a pack for a few years now, i must get another one and grow it out to see
