My idea to grow a plant flat. could this work? pics

Ok, could you somehow slowly train your plant with a combination of supercrops and tiedowns to lay flat against, or just above the soil in a circle shape? I made a pretty painting to make it easier to understand. (I know this is not what the plant would look like but you get the idea.)

Ive had this same idea for my next grow. i dont see why it wouldnt work, since mj is very easy to manipulate. It should work. Im gonna try it to utilize every bit of free space. Could you imagine doing this to 12-15 plants in 5 gallon buckets. You would have a shit ton of bud when its all done...Good luck on trying it. i will be doing this withing a month or two....

Dude, I've done this for years. Outdoors but even indoors a few times. Search RIU for my thread on the laid over bud monster SSH. I lay them over outdoors and use wire anchors to keep them horizontal. What would be inside buds then get full light exposure.

you can lst a plant like that and then let it grow up to give you a short productive plant from each side branch. but the branches will grow up

The cops look for 2 things from the air - the perfectly round shape (which laying over ruins) and the unique color. Laid over plants are ignored. Never had one uncovered or yanked. Knock on wood.

Navyfighter04-

Nice! Yeah it would save quite a bit of space that would be sick haha, also dont really have to worry about side-lighting... Good luck to you aswell.

Never thought of that, makes sense. Wish my backyard got enough light haha.
