Well guv'nor, if you lived in a place bigger than my backyard you would need gas.omg, i cannot believe americans are complaining of petrol prices, wtf?!
u guys get it for like .20p a litre. its going up to at least £1.14 per litre in the UK thats like, .... $2.30.
how would u feel if u guys had to pay that. ud be a pretty pissed of country eh
Are you rolling the flintstone car or someshit? Or did you buy your ride straight off the dukes of hazard county. Fuck calis cost of living.i'm paying $4.50 a gallon. american dollars. and i get 6 miles to the gallon.
It'd be even funnier for us the second time you had to pull up in that.I sooo wish I could get one of those peel p50s here in the US after that Top Gear episode. I only commute 6 miles, it would be funny as hell to drive to work once.
I have to buy premium octane so I pay quite a bit for gas, but it's still cheap here compares to 90% of the rest of the world.
Most people wouldn't commute a long way for a minimum wage job though, since you can usually get one closer to home. Also, we still have public transportation even though it's not the best and people don't like to use it.One thing to remember with the $4 a gallon gas. That is like 66% of the minimum wage of the country. If you have a job where you are making minimum wage, or a little more, you are paying a large percentage of your hourly wage to get gas. What is the minimum wage where you are? And there are only like 3.8 liters per gallon I think, not 4.54.
And if my quick math was right, at $1.14 EUR a liter, translated to USD, that would be $6.83 per gallon, so yea, american have it cheaper, but we also drive more.
Not everywhere has it dude, the one here normally is so late you can't use it unless you go an hour in advance. Most people wouldn't commute a long way for a minimum wage job though, since you can usually get one closer to home.
