Or is this a cal/mag problem?

This plant has been incredibly healthy up until now. Week 5 of flower. Ph should be 6.5-7 since its tap water.

It's a little hard to see with the HPS light and these pics, but if you look closely you can see the veins have browned. It's just the top set of leafs on the plant.

Just tried to rub it off with some saliva it wouldn't budge. It has actually gotten worse in the couple hours since the picture. Its becoming necrosis and the entire leaf is drying and will crack rather then fold when squeezed.

K ill get some better pics

I can come on this site and help other people out no problem but i always seem to get the 1 in a 100 problem. It doesn't match with anything. The closest is cal-mag def except there are a few threads i have found with my problem but there was either no answer or really bad news....

This guy seems to have the same thing but with slightly more progressed

It's spreading down to the next node. I can see the "rust" coming on.

I had a simular prob and someone recommended I use "epsom salts" a table spoon to a gallon of water, and In one day it's snapin' back and lookin' good. Good source of magnesium, and can use as a foiliar spray, or so I've heard..GL

Yea from the info i have gathered it looks like it may be one of the weirdest cal mag problems you can get, or its a disease and I'm fucked.

Here's what someone else said in the first forum you posted....
"You have described what sounds like (without seeing the leaves) mite damage. Get some reading glasses and look at the bottom side of some of the damaged leaves for mites to be sure. You can also look for small webs on the interior of the plant or between the fingers of the leaves." dinosaurman, Dec 31, 2010

Have you checked?...I don't know I'm a n00b, but tryin' to help..lol

The few things that i have seen that will do this, apart from cal/mag being out of whack, are products of environment. do you use and kind of like ozone or sulfur burner? the plant could be too close and be getting what my friend called "O2 poisoning". also how close is that part of the plant to the nearest fan? when leaves dry and crack and get that brittle that fast, its sometimes a rare occurrence called "wind-burn". diligence wubstepp and hopefully its not a disease and you will be able to fix the issue. good luck.

To be honest i have done this majority of this grow without a fan going(Because its winter and in my basement it gets cold),I have one going right now though. :P My baby's are right next to the furnace which may be blowing right onto this plant with the rust spots :O Could that be a correlation?
