Repot or not and best lighting?

Hey guys, I have 5 started already and instead of the low bushy growth I'm getting tall and lanky. I know this is most likely because of the lighting I'm using.
I am trying to decide whether to repot the big seedlings and bury the trunks. At least 3 of these will be indoor plants, I've purchased an Agromax T5HO lighting system with the veg/bloom bulbs. I'm wondering about the finisher bulbs at 10,000 lumens bulb vs the super veg 5400 lumens for vegging. Any advice is welcome! thanks!:leaf::leaf::leaf:

Well you really need to get the lights closer for a short compact plant so you will have fat dense buds in the end (or so I've heard, I'm a n00b), and use more of the 6500k bulbs, I'm running 3 to 1 right now for veg (3-6500k to 1-2700k) here's my setup...

and after transplant....21 to 25 days from sprout...

Oh yeah, and seperate those babies into their own cups...

And you want high lumen output, but make sure their 6500k (blue light spectrum) and 2700k (redish orange spectrum).......oh and good luck man, happy growing..

so I should bury the stalks? thanks for the adv, this is my first year at building an actual grow system. Last year I did a bathroom grow and put my girl outside after 3 months (it was just the one plants) I've had them under a compact florescent bulb and I was afraid if I got it too close it would burn my tops. Btw, You got some lovely ladies there!

You can always re-pot and bury an inch or two of stem... that shouldn't hurt the ladies.

You definitely need to be close using T5s and CFLs, from what I've heard... personally, I'm HIDs all the way

Thanx man, and yeah you want them bulbs no more than 2 inches from the light...rule of thumb is to put ur hand just above the plant, if the back of ur hand is not too hot, neither is the plant...GL

You can bury up to about a half inch from your lowest set of leaves.
Get more light, and move 'em closer as Rik mentioned, so you don't continue to stretch.;)
