that's why they call it "kicking the can down the road" but youll no doubt pretend this is not true since it does not match your narrative.

barry, by failing to get a budget passed has inadvertently failed to kick the can, like the clubfooted retarded kid who tries to kick and instead falls on his butt.

this has resulted in the entirely unexpected and unprecedented event of a 10-12 year budget plan actually progressing into the previously imaginary deficit reduction phase. this has NOTHING to do with barry save he fell on his butt instead of kicking the can, and shockingly enough, while the rest of us were laughing at barry wallowing in the dogshit he fell in, bush's long term projections from his budget from 5 years ago are coming to fruition.

this is uncharted territory, since normally a new budget comes out to kick the can down the road every fucking year. as long as barry keeps falling on his butt the economy may continue to improve, but if he puts on hsi orthopedic leg brace and gets really lucky he could undo it all with one halfhearted kick.

even barry's new spending and new taxing hasnt managed to derail the long term budget program crafted at the close of the bush administration, and while this is a GOOD thing, barry can not claim success based on hsi personal inability to deliver on his stated goals.

you ignore the simple truth that the now traditional ten-12 year budget stupidity which provides cookies and handjobs in the first two years and then promises to pay for it with belt tightening and spending cuts over the next decade has shockingly enough (through obama's incompetence) now actually reached the previously never achieved Belt Tightening Stage which had been prevented by passing a new 10-12 year budget on the same lines every year.

the economy is straightening up because Baryy Has Failed and the can was not kicked down the road, so the proposed (but never intended to occur) reductions in the baseline spending increases have begun to happen, and you and barry are terrified that anyone will see that, in fact,, austerity and reductions in the rate of growth (not even fucking cuts, just reductions in the spending increases for fuck's sake) actually works.

as long as barry keeps failing to make a budget, we may even see a surplus from the continuation of the bush budget beyond it's projections.

and this scares the piss out of you.

it's the spending freeze recommended by so many economists for decades. they said, just stop increasing spending, and even moidest growth could bust the deficit and begin to pay off the debt.

and now it is proving itself to be true. a national budget is EXACTLY like a personal budget. if outgoings are more than incomings you will go broke, if incomings exceed outgoings you can save and invest.
