Organic soil is living, to build the life inside my soil (also using batmix) I use a mycorrhizal fungi along with some worm castings and a bacterially dominated tea every week. The plant will only take what it needs and the plant keeps the soil fed. You have to be strict about using non chlorinated water though, because you will hurt your living soil using it.
Cheers for the info,it makes sense.
My water is from a private source so definitely un-chlorinated but it is quite hard.Would it be better to soften it?

Yeah Im only using RO water for now on but I don't use organic chemicals but I am going to do a flush this time for the last ten days of flowering.

sorry i had to go at that kid tonto but he was just not comprehending what I was trying to explain to him, hopefully he understands or just leaves. Don't get me wrong I hope he stays and ends up to be a productive member of this thread and what the hell happened to AE? I miss that dude.

ill stick a pic up for ya tomorrow bro, lights are off now.compared too my last autos shes a beast......
I read the description and it says it does very well in colder temps, its cold there right? It also says it has a strong fruit odor.

here is the description from the tude:

Dinafem Seeds Grapefruit is a very pretty plant with splendid autumn shades. It is very productive, has a great flavour and convincing effect; anyone would love to have it in their garden. So Dinafem decided to start a new automatic strain of Grapefruit that would allow us to enjoy a fruity taste in the middle of summer without too many complications. The result is Fruit Automatic, an automatic strain that includes Grapefruit genetics in order to achieve more flavour, resin and production as well as a more intense effect. In addition, it is larger than other automatics and flowers in only 60 days after germination takes place -65 at the most- producing abundant sweet-smelling resin, dense plants with thick Indica leaves, and buds as sticky as honey. It seems to produce the strange tendency among humans to want to smell them up close. They believe this is due to the fact that the combination of thick glittering crystals of resin and the smell that this plant emits makes it irresistable to cannabis cultivators and enthusiasts. It is a variety that stands cold weather fairly well so we recommend planting towards the last week of May in order to harvest the last week of July, and in this way achieve unbeatable results.

No biggie man I like to hook people up and get different strains going around the world, hope it is fire, grapefruit is a very well known strain all over the west coast and is used in many crosses for the fruit smell it puts off and its potency. Thanks about my cab I'm very happy with the way it turned out, tents are really good for blocking the light out. With cabs you have to do some taping to get it totally light leak free but its not a big deal.

the last pic is a close up of the wappa read good reviews about this one aswell:wink:

Wow. That fruit auto took off, very nice and you are very welcome my friend. Also they look very healthy which tells me you are doing it right but I'm sure this isn't your first rodeo. The fruit auto has a nice sativa structure, plenty of space between nodes would be good for topping but then you would have an even wilder bushy bitch. The wappa has a beautiful fat indica leaf structure, nice and uniform and you should get a better yield, but you should get good yields from both if you're patient and let them go until the trichromes start to turn amber on both plants. Looks like you topped the wappa, hell you could have topped the fruit as well. You are going to have some tight rock buds on that wappa, be careful when growing an indy dominant you can get mold but if the temps and humidity aren't that bad and you have good airflow you shouldn't have any problems but if you do green cure works awesome!

I can't remember what else did you get? I tried to be fair to all I hooked up with the same amounts. At least the wappa is a fem so no worries of males screwing ur grow up!

green cure: green cure.jpgits description of what it does:

@marley: you can also use this as a preventative @ first signs of problems (it stinks like ass though, I wouldn't use it while the plant is in flower): I personally haven't had to use either but I have them on hand just incase!

here a few pics of the BCN Diesel Auto by Kannabia seeds I grew and it was a beast as well took up my entire cab:

diesel1.jpgdiesel3.jpgdiesel4.jpgdiesel5.jpgdiesel6.jpg

It has a similar in structure to your fruit having that sativa structure and it was sative dom nice and potent, it smelled of fuel and terpine tine which makes sense being a diesel strain! In the pics the plant is about 2 weeks from harvest.

It should be ok if you intend on growing organically, the soil will buffer all the crap in your water but cleaner is better. Maybe something cheap like a brita filter would be enough to soften up your water enough.

whats going on lamaaror? You like the MFLB (magic flight launch box)? I had one and sold it when I bought the arizer solo which f'n awesome great vape clouds and taste oh so good, its a portable:

Yeah the MFLB served me well for a past 2 years or so, but I moved up to an arizer extreme Q, the desktop one. The solo looks like an improvement over the MFLB which was just a pain to clean once she got gunked up full of resin. Can you vape hash and oils in there as well? I must say Arizer are a quality brand, 25 year warranty on the heating element in the vape (which is all the vape really is)

I never said a light or anything in a cab/tent will prevent pollen or mold

lie the 1st

a good setup you won't have any of those problems

what do you not get about that

you realize in all your rambling nonsense you havent answered my question, no matter how many times iv simply and politely worded it for you

just giving my OPINION

a respected opinion that you fail to back up with facts, never mind common sense

I did not say a carbon filter will keep away pollen

another lie
but with a carbon filter

You can control air flow

maybe some sort of filter could be attached to stop contaminants getting in? pipe dream or hepa filter?
hell you can make it daylight in there when it is dark outside

my god......
someone new comes along

again a testament to your fine observation skills, look at our join dates.

sorry i had to go at that kid tonto

well since im a kid maybe you should be the bigger man and end this discussion by

1) naming the device/metheod that removes contaminants from the air without babbling

or

2) admit you wrong and have no idea what your talking about ie that without a filter indoor bud has crap/pollen to

if you do one of the above calmly without juvenile insults, lying or stuffing your posts with more nonsense

that would be great
