CFL Question ...power wattages

if your running 10 cfls at 23 watts a piece thats a total of 230 watts....if im running all 10 cfls at 230 watts on a 18/6 hr on and off schedule how much money would this cost for 1 months worth of hydro starting from the 1st till the 31st


thanks for all ur info guys just wondering cause my bill was some odd high this month a little to to high so i wasnt sure just thought id ask

Well, 230watts/18hrs a day @ .015¢/kwh...$226.04/y...$17.39/m...$4.35/w...0.62¢/d....or .032¢/hr....peace

Can't give an accurate answer when you don't tell us how much you pay per KWH for your power.

My calculations are based on .015¢ a kwh.I pay .010 per kwh.There was no significant increase in my electricity bill......

it want be noticeable difference i did a cfl this year indoors and no difference in power bill at all that i seen, had 8 23 watters and one 300 watter

I didn't think he was talking about me either.....im just saying,we don't need no drama:)............anyway........
My rate fluctuates as per how much power I use..........from .010 to .012¢........Im just saying anyone using only cfl's are not going to see much difference in they're electricity bill.....I could go on but........www.electricity-usage.com
