"Pics or it didn't happen "This has got to be one of the most ignorant statements that people use. There are numerous reasons why someone doesn't have any pics, this surely doesn't mean that it didn't happen. Do the owners of this website have pics of them building it, probably not, but there is obviously a website here. Its not like it matters if someone has pics because very few people comment on them anyway when they are there, but there's always some joker saying "pics or it didn't happen" when they're not.

just a line trolls use when they have nothing else. Great growers have no need to prove anything, especially to internet trolls. Plus, I have grown plants that look incredible, but, I wouldn't smoke it. so,pics don't mean shit.

I think you may have misunderstood its meaning.

It is just a catch phrase used to illustrate the notion that whatever has been claimed can not be proven without further evidence, most readily available in modern times as a picture.

Pictures are a great way to put one's advice into context. I for one think pictures are very important, especially with all the bad advice that gets tossed around in this hobby.

If you don't post pics, you've got something to hide, and usually that's a group of sh*tty looking plants.

For a large variety of reasons I have stopped posting pics. All related to security issues that true computer experts can explain to you. Like one did to me. A pic is worth 1000 words - a lot of testimony there. Those of us raised on the Mexican border learn early to suspect everything. Those who feel or think otherwise I am envious - at times.

I started to do grow logs. When I retire from medicine and have less to lose or endanger I will loosen up a bit more. Licensing boards for medical professionals do not look lightly on such activities. As far as what people here think if I don't post pics? Who gives a flying f^#k what anybody thinks? Seriously. How many post pics they took from Google or some other search engine?

Trolls will say whatever they want to get a reaction, that's expected. My personal opinion is that pictures speak louder than words and there are a lot of empty and misguided words on these forums. I'm not saying I'm right, I've just been around long enough to spot BS when I read it.

Usually the "pics or it didnt happen" line is given to the people who talk and talk and talk and talk, and show a lot of reasons to suspect they are full of shit.

I always recommend researching before starting. The thing is, reading can only take you so far. It is like trying to explain an acid trip. You have to see it unfold in front of your own eyes to understand it fully. It is generally easy to pick out those who have only read and havent actually put the information to use. They misunderstand concepts just a little, something that becomes crystal clear once you have grown and seen it unfold in front of your own eyes.
