I took in these plants from my friend, they were outside but now inside in soil. There about a month and 2 days old and been under 18/6 lighting with CFLs and I notice this orangish hairs like pistils, I wanted to know if this is good or bad? And does this mean its a female/male/hermie? i have a pic posted and any knowledge is helpful thanks

The orange means it's transgender and wishes to simply express itself. Give her/him that freedom! You go, girl (or whatever). I thought you meant you had orange hair on YOUR node since that is how you titled it.

Tis perfectly normal in most instances - as an example, grape ape is known for dark orange pistil color - wouldn't be alarmed unless you're seeing other symptoms.

So is it a female? And when can I put it into flowering stage? I was gonna wait til it was 18-24 inches tall only cause I don't know the strain but is there other signs I got watch for like these orange hairs to put it on 12/12?

I think that what you have there are the elusive "pre-flowers". Very cool.

Good luck with that lady.

Just be careful with your baby. Dont go by the male and get pollen on you and then right after go to your grow room. Think about nature wind animals etc all transfer pollen

She is small for a month. What strain is it?
I am not to sure, it was my friends and he had it outside and bugs got to it and ate a part of a leaf, but yah she is small I seen bigger plants that are younger its sad but im glad he gave it to me. She has a better chance now
